Just like the show
This is so much fun. The sound effects are fab and it's a great way to spend an hour or two. Fans of the show would enjoy this. Easy to use and fun to play. Highly recommend.

Great game! Bought this for my 11 year old ...
Great game! Bought this for my 11 year old son to get him away from his Xbox for a while. He loved it and came up with some really good words. Shortly after Christmas we had a 3 day power cut so took the game out and all the family got involved with playing this game during the daylight. Didn't realise how competitive we all were! Great game to play whether you're nine or ninety!

Much Better Than the Previous Board Game from 2010
This game is great fun. It has everything you need: enough letters to produce a good mix of selections, all 24 number cards, a target generator which is a 10-sided die to roll 3 times (in the previous board game in 2010 there was no target generator!), 40 conundrums and of course the countdown sound effect unit. It doesn't have a hand or lights but it's not distracting in any way. However, the music is a little bit too fast, and it seems to last 29 seconds instead of 30, so you may have to add an extra second after the boom at the end. You can stop and restart it for the conundrum round though, which is great.Another minor downside is the pointless score sheet. Not only is it too small to fit information in, it uses the wrong round format. On the TV show they no longer play 11 letters games and 3 numbers games. It's now 10 letters games and four numbers games. The sequence is now LLNLLNLLNLLLLNC (still 15 rounds). It's been this way on TV since the late Spring of 2013 so that you get an even number of letters and numbers game to choose. You're better off with just a piece of paper and the game's pencils, especially for the numbers game. Also, by playing the current round format you are very slightly less likely to get more nasty letter selections, so play that one instead of the one on the scoresheet. But all in all, an excellent game for everyone.

A great game to play via video call in lockdown
Like most games, this could probably be created if you had the time and patience, but this is a great game that will never get used up like othe quiz games. The timer makes it - the actual countdown clock, making it high pressure! I was sceptical about the number round the first time we played as you create the target number using a 9-sided die that's rolled 3 times, but it works well. Having played it before we bought it for lockdown games via video call and it is so far working excellently! Packaging could be condensed massively as it's mainly plastic inner.

Great Game!
I have never played a game which brings you to as near to how it is on the TV as this! so much fun and thought at the same time, comes with the the timer which plays the famous countdown song - a real laugh for all the family!!!
