Nioxin Hair System 3

I bought this as I noticed thinning of my hair due to medication that I was trailing for a condition I have.Unfortunately I suffered a lot of side effects of the treatment and one of those was thinning hair. As I'm still young, this was a concern of mine so I decided to try Nioxin.I'm not sure what I expected but I was a little underwhelmed with the results. Did I notice thicker feeling hair? Yes I did but this felt like it was an additive to the hair and not specifically new hair growth.The process is easy to use and I do believe that it has had a positive impact on my hair but it hasn't delivered what I had hoped and that was to restore my hair to what it was before the medication.As I had stopped the medication I don't know if the improvement of my hair was due to the nioxin or the fact I was no longer on the medication.The kit is great in terms of direction and usability, but it does not last long enough. Its more of a trial kit than a starter kit I would say.It left my hair feeling a little dry and overly clean (if that makes sense) but it didn't feel bad, just not how hair usually feels.It's a shame it didn't work as I had hoped because I'd read such good things, maybe it helped with me, I don't know but I am assuming the majority was because I was no longer taking the medication that caused the loss.3 stars because it was ok and I did see some improvement but I expected a lot more.

I have been using these products for roughly 6 weeks and this is my second order. The difference in my hair appearance is very noticeable already looks and feels thicker. I was recommended to this product and now would have no hesitation it recommending to anyone whose hair is thinning through age or had cancer. The treatments are especially good when you start to get regrowth after chemo.

I like the shampoo and conditioner and still have many months supply of both, I should really have taken before and after pictures but I feel that my hair has thickened up from using this product. The third bottle that comes in this package is a leave in treatment mousse, its a tiny bottle and mine is close to running out after just a couple of weeks. There are other options you can buy separately but why not just make the mousse the same size as the other two bottles in this package?

I’m really surprised at how much I like this product. Due to medication I’ve used the same shampoo and conditioner for years. After I noticed some breakage and hair loss I tried this on my already fine hair. I was sceptical but I love it and have noticed a huge difference in the amount of hair I’m shedding. Would recommend 100%.

Absolute brill! 2nd wash and I can already feel my hair feels thicker! Only reason it is not a 5 star is because the bottles are quite small and it leaves your hair notty not shiny :)

Love this product. Just use this shampoo since discovered it. I have really weak and thin hair and think makes difference. Never buying other shampoo again. My hair feel so clean!!! Can't recommend it more! Worth a try.

Item came on time, first time I’ve brought system 3, other 2 times I had brought system 4 as reason for buying was somebody had pulled my hair out quite badly!I prefer system 3 for the Scalp treatment as it doesn’t make the hair stiff like system 4 does. Also, I felt it penetrate my scalp more and was the only time I’ve seen my scalp go red like a lot of people say it does, which is nice in a way to know it’s really working. System 4 I didn’t get much of a sensation at all which is surprising as it’s meant to be stronger but it made my hair stiff if put on dry or drying hair.The shampoo and conditioner felt the same as system 4’s, I recommend leaving both on for at least 2 mins before washing off as after a minute or so you feel them really working too.

I've been buying this set for my mother over the last 6 months. It's made a big difference to her hair as it looks much thicker, it doesn't fall out as much and you can't see through to the scalp as much as before. My mother has suffered with hair loss for years since the menopause. I feel it's saving her hair.
