Extremely pleased with this battery which gave my dinosaur laptop a new life.

Fit my HP DV8T with no problem.
My original OEM battery lasted about 10 years. This is the 2nd Futurebatt battery I have used, and the 1st one lasted only a year, and at that time was down to about 12% max-charge.This battery is at 100% after being installed 5 weeks. That is fine.Pros: The price is reasonable, the new battery fit, was easy to install, and currently registers 100% in my HP DV8T.Cons: The last Futurebatt battery only lasted one year. I hope this one lasts longer... so far 5 weeks and at 100%.Would I buy it again? If it lasts 2 years a definite "yes". If this one only lasts a year, then I'll probably look elsewhere.

Long battery life
I needed a replacement battery for my HP Elitebook and this was the one that was compatible. It came pre charged and I was able to use it right away.The battery last about 3 hours which is a lot longer than the original one.

Hard to find becaust it's 18 years old.
This battery was the one I wanted, and the laptop is an 2007 model.

For a Li-ion battery, it didn't last very long.
For a Li-ion battery, it didn't last very long. It worked great at first with a long power on time but it stated showing signs of a shortened functional usage time after about a year of light use. Buy 15 months, it stopped working completely. Spend a little more on a better battery. I really can't recommend this product.
