I recieved this case very quickly after I had ordered it with my Amazon Prime membership. When I opened the secure, and properly marked package, I found that the light gray Terrapin Galaxy SV case I purchased looked exactly as the pictures on the ordering page suggested.The outer material, which wraps around the entire case and provides protection to the SV's massive screen, actually looks and feels like leather--a very soft, yet sturdy leather, with a silky texture. The inner layer, made from a soft rubber-like material, hugs the phone very tightly--there is NO danger that the phone might slip out of this case's firm grasp...I have dropped my phone while using this case, and it did not separate from my phone...when I picked up my phone to search for any signs of damage (and finding not one scratch) I noticed that the rubbery inner layer provides a lip which surrounds the entire screen--it protrudes out slightly beyond the screen so that if the phone did fall face down on the ground (and the cover somehow flipped open, leaving the screen exposed) the lip would not allow contact/damage to the screen.Another feature I like about this case is the magnetic clasp which wraps around from the back and magnetically seals the flip cover closed--the magnet is relatively powerful, yet can be easily, and quickly opened with just a flick of your finger...Furthermore, unlike flip cases which lack this feature, the flip cover may be magnetically secured to the back of the phone so it is not constantly flopping around and impeding one's abilty to type, or perform other tasks...also the clasp is useful if you'd like to use the case to function as a stand for your phone...Now, I took off one star for ONE reason--it has become apparent to me that a hole should have been cut, or an indentation made, into the flip cover to account for the Galaxy SV's protruding Home key...I store/carry my phone in my front pocket, and I found that this case is susceptible to pressing the home button when enough pressure is applied to it..not too big of a deal since it happened rarely, but I will point out that I have "butte-dialed" ("thigh-dialed" in my case) a few people on occasion--this could be a MAJOR problem depending on who has been dialed...So, to sum up, this is a really great case, and is my favorite out of the 5 I have purchased for my SV...I would recommend this case to friends...

Excellent case. High quality. It's very slim and not bulky. I don't use it to put cards in the slots; it has room for two, but I don't think the case will close if you put anything in there. The flap is magnetic which holds the case closed very well. When you flip the front cover open and around to the back, it should stick with the magnet as well, but it doesn't seem to do that on this case (works for the case for Lumia 950 XL).The case the phone clips into is great. I've had a flip case before that the plastic holder inside was soft and warped and terrible. This one is a hard plastic, easily clips the phone in and out.

There are some things I really like about the case.- It fits well.- It fully covers the screen.- It is designed to be a stand as well as a case- It has a magnetic closure.I wish both the plastic and the "leather" part were slightly thicker, to provide better drop protection. I also wanted one that had a bit of a different closure, but this one works well and is low profile. I particular wanted this to keep my screen protected, as I continue to scratch the screen protectors on my phones with my keys. Hopefully that won't happen anymore.

The case does what its supposed to: [1] effectively protected my phone from damage when phone fell from my lap to concrete ground when getting out of car, [2] convenient stand for movie viewing. I only give 3 stars due to: [1] causes my phone to heat up when charging the phone since the case traps in the heat if case is fully closed while charging, [2] the case is nicely coated with a soft-feel, non-slip rubber coating that unfortunately starts to peel.Other than those two issues, the case is ok. I've learned to charge the phone without the case attached to prevent the overheating issue. I like the very slim profile and the leather is holding up very well.

I really like this case but the plastic that holds the phone keeps breaking off without me doing anything to compromise it. Like I'll be laying in bed and for some reason I see a piece has fallen off. I have had it for awhile though and I do use my phone a lot. I'd say get it if you're okay with replacing it within 6 months.

I still love this item. Its been about 6 months now and is still going strong. I carry my phone in my pocket and this allows me too without adding a lot of extra bulk. I also like the way the magnets act as a stand. I use this feature a lot. I have also purchased another one, so I could use different colors. One did chip on one corner because I dropped it. But the phone was in tact, That's what it is all about. I would recommend this.

I rated this case five stars because I've had it for almost 3 months and it works almost perfectly. The magnet has not gotten weaker like with many other products, and the case is still in great shape after a hand full of drops from my height (Im about 5ft 11in). There is one draw back and its that sometime the kickstand gives me a little problem like not wanting to stand up but after about 5 seconds or so it works like new.C

Pleasantly surprised! Very nice, very snug fit, I couldn't get the phone out it was so tight at first. Never had overheating issues. I was afraid to use the ccard holder but have for about 5 months and they've NEVER demagnitized. If you abuse the case the slots will stretch out. I've had this about 8 months and ordering another, mine has gotten dirty and they are so reasonably priced.

Viel kann man für den Preis ja nicht verlangen. Das Handy passt sehr, sehr gut in die Hülle und geht nur schwer wieder raus. Das kann man positiv oder negativ sehen. Ich sehe es positiv, da so das Handy wirklich nicht rausfallen kann und evtl. sogar runterfallen könnte. Flipschale ist von innen mit einem angenehmen (Rauleder-Imitat?) Stoff bezogen. 2 Karten lassen sich anfangs sehr schwer, später sehr einfach auch im Case ablegen. Ich nutze es für meine Mensa und Biblothekskarte. So muss ich nicht immer den gesamten Geldbeutel auch noch mitnehen. Der Magnet, der die Tasche zusammenhält ist ausreichend stark und auch von außen ist die Tasche hübsch anzusehen.Leider sind mir nach schon nach 1 Woche Benutzung und max. 5x Handy rein/raus machen schon ein Riss in die Schale gekommen. Der ist zwar sehr klein, aber trotzdem ärgerlich.Das was einige zum Lagegerätanschluss bemängelt haben, kann ich nicht bestätiten. Laden lässt sich das Handy auch sehr gut in der Schale.

Mein S5 passt sehr gut in die Tasche. Alle Tasten und Anschlüsse sind weiterhin erreichbar. Man bekommt das Smartphone auch halbwegs gut aus der Tasche heraus.Sehr gut ist die Möglichkeit, dass Telefon quer zu platzieren. Habe zunächst mich immer geärgert, dass die kleine Verschluss-Lasche unkontrolliert im Weg hing, bis ich merkte, dass man sie nur umlegen muss, denn auf der Rückseite ihaftet die Lasche dann auch magnetisch.Apropos Magnet: Ob es so empfehlenswert ist, Karten mit Magnetstreifen in die Terrapin Tasche zu stecken? Habe dort zwei drei mal meine Hotel-Zimmer Karten untergebracht, die eben auch einen Magnetstreifen haben. Die waren nach einem Tag immer unbrauchbar. Kreditkarten habe ich deshalb noch nicht da rein gesteckt.

Habe mir die Hülle für mein S4 vor einem Jahr gekauft, nachdem ich zwei Silikonhüllen probiert habe. Da ich aber auch einen Schutz für das Display haben wollte habe ich es mit der Hülle für das S4 versucht und war begeistert. Nun habe ich das S5 und habe mir gleich die Hülle für diese Größe bestellt und bin wieder begeistert. Sie liegt gut in der Hand, der Magnet hält wirklich zu und optisch sieht das Handy irgendwie kleiner aus. Das S5 passt perfekt in die Hülle (ohne die Rückseite abzunehmen) und rutscht auch nicht heraus. Alle Kanten und Ecken sind gut geschützt. Die Aussparungen für die Schalter und Anschlüsse sind ebenfalls gut. Ich würde die Hülle immer wieder kaufen (insbesondere für den Preis).

Versand war super schnell. Die Hülle ist prima. Das Handy sitzt fest in der Plastikhülle.Habe bereits schon die zweite Hüllen von dieser Marke gekauft innerhalb 3 Monaten und beide sind leider kaputt gegangen. Bei beiden ist der dünne Steg am Lautstärkeregler abgebrochen und beide Hüllen hatten nach einem Monat schon einigen Risse im Plastikrahmen.Bin sehr enttäuscht, weil ich dachte ich habe mit der 2. Hülle mehr Glück. Auch wenn sie nur 10€ gekostet hat hätte ich mir ein bisschen längere Lebensdauer der Hülle erhofft.Fakt ist ich kann diese Ledertasche keinem weiter empfehlen.

Nette Hülle die das Smartphone schützen soll und das tut sie auch.Leider ist beim ersten Sturz der Kunsstoffrahmen an einer Stelle etwas eingerissen, daher einen Stern Abzug.macht dem Handy aber nichts, da es immer noch geschützt ist und nicht raus fällt.Die zwei kleinen Fächer im Deckel sind gut für Karten, allerdings mehr wie zwei passen da nicht.Etwas Kleingeld in Scheinen und das Ding ist voll.Aber es ist ja auch keine Handtasche, sondern eine Handyhülle ;-)Fazit:Sieht gut aus, mein Samsung S5 ist gut verpackt und sieht edel aus.
