you should really use thin chipboard for these cuts, but cardboard (raid your recycle bin!) gives it a nice sturdy look and feel. i used small brads to attach the hinges. this box is really cool. its a nice size, and quite roomy. its a great purchase. now im looking at other lynda kanase products, shes awesome!

Just love these they cut thru thick materials nice clean cut easy to assemble gotta have it in your craft room.

The stacking drawers that are supposed to fit inside do not extend far enough to make it look like the two go together ( don’t be fooled by the photo Sizzix put out for this), although they can fit inside, it just looks likely they don’t match well, what a bummer. On the plus size, 3 mini albums made out of paper from the Passport die by Eileen Hull can fit inside or 4 mini albums using the Lynda Kanase die. Amazon didn’t provide this, the finished size is 5 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 4 1/8" so the box could be used to fit the standard size 4x6 recipe cards inside. Not sure why, but I haven't seen this made using matboard or chipboard.

Stanzt einwandfrei und die weitere Verarbeitung ist ohne Probleme möglich.

Love this die. The photo of the two boxes are an example of what can be done with the basic box structure. They can also be used to make a larger storage like the library drawer. You need a die cutting machine that will take the dies - I use a Big Shot Plus machine. If you use the smaller Big Shot you will need extended cutting plates.
