Are these for tenor sax?

They fit well on a metal mouthpiece... almost perfect fit. All mouthpieces are a little different, so you may not get a perfect match, but even if the pad is a bit small, it will still function how it should.

Toothguards were recommended for my daughter's clarinet. Now which ones to get? Are the thick black ones too thick and these are better??

It all depends; if she's never used guards before, I'd recommend the thinner the better, just to get used to them. I only just started using them on clarinet, and soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones because of a recommendation from a repair man, and these type work well on all of them. The color doesn't really matter other than preference. You can't really see the clear ones, and the black ones just seem to be a different color to differentiate that they are thicker. Perhaps the thicker ones might be better if your daughter has *very* sensitive teeth, but I'm fairly sure either one works well for protecting the mouthpiece (which is kind of secondary, unless you have a *really* nice mouthpiece).

Will this fit a Beechler Diamond mouthpiece?

It's pretty universal I imagine they'll fit any mouthpiece as it fits my alto and tenor mouthpieces. Easily modifiable if it somehow didnt.

How long does one cushion last and does it leave a film or stickiness on the mouthpiece when removed?

These cushions last a very long time. Eventually they can wear out and/or get gross, so they should be changed after at least 6 months or so. Even still, they can last very long.They do not leave any film on the mouthpiece, and there is very minimal stickiness, that can easily be rubbed off with a little spit on your finger. The cushions can be taken off and put on again to be replaced or repositioned.

Barely there, fits perfectly

Fantastic product. Stops my teeth from scratching the mouth piece. Fits the mouth piece top perfectly. So thin that you barely notice that it's there.

Great

I bought the thin ones and thick ones. Both are great and were in perfect condition. Each pad lasts longer than I expected to be honest. I personally prefer the thicker ones. They have a matt black finish and my teeth slip less on them. The thin ones are clear and have more of a gloss surface which I didn't get on with as much but they weren't bad. It is personal preferance of course!
