First and foremost, the charger is gorgeous; aesthetics matter and Native Union understands this and has made it the central pillar of their brand.It comes in two pieces + the cable (which on its own is high quality and features NU’s signature leather belt cable tie). One is the back (the actual charging portion), the other a metal plate with bumpers that slides through to provide the platform for the phone and a hole for cable management. The bumpers keep both the phone and the unit from slipping. Additionally worth noting (although a feature I rarely use) is the portrait-or-landscape option, a feature which many wireless chargers lack.The only downside is simply the current limitations of wireless charging technology — if you are used to PD charging you will find that this is very notably slower. I find myself typically using this charger instead of my PD charger while I’m working; I’m planning to be stationary for some time and the propped-up display is convenient while sitting at a desk, while the PD is ideal if I’m laying down and using my phone or I need it charged 5 minutes ago.

I was looking for a wireless charger, but one that still allowed my phone to be upright since I use it as my alarm. I found this one and it was exactly what I was looking for. I love the look and design. The cord is plenty long to reach the outlet and then some. You can have you phone either sit straight up or landscaped to charge. I find it charges my phone pretty quick, much quicker than ones I've owned in the past.My only complaint is that after about a month of use there are some nights (maybe 3 or 4 out of the last 30+ days) where it stops charging the battery before it gets to 100%. When this has happened the charging light turns from white to red (so it's red when I wake up) but still charged the phone to 91%. I'm not sure why it happens as it happens overnight and no one or nothing has touched the phone or charger. When I check the apple battery app I can see what time it stopped charging.All in all it's a good wireless charger and the issue above isn't enough to keep me from using it. Still it would be nice to not have that issue.

I purchased several of this brand’s chargers in the past, for family members as gifts. This unit was for me, is my favorite and prefer over the drop charger style where the phone lays flat. It charges very quickly, you can put your phone in different positions vertical and horizontal, and it makes a great stand to watch movies while charging.

This thing rocks, despite my initial tale of woe. Said tale: receive the very expensive charger. Unpack from the cool packaging. Assemble. Plug in. Put iPhone 11 pro on. Get red error light. Try various things, but to no charging avail. But my husband’s iPhone 8 charged just fine! Contact Native Union. They remark that the iPhone 11 pro has different power requirements, so I get not one, but two QC 3.0 quick chargers (ok they came in a pack of two), and ... same result. No charge.Loving the aesthetic and functionality of the dock, I exchanged through Amazon. Second dock came. Repeat assembly and non-charging experience. A friend who had an iPhone X plus put his phone one and it charged just fine. I thought I had a defective iPhone. My friend asked if I had rebooted my phone. I sheepishly admitted that I hadn’t. And now you know the rest of the story and the moral....Aesthetically awesome, well-fabricated, great functionality, I love this very working dock. If you covet this dock and can stomach the asking price, I would hope you would enjoy using it too.By the way it charges through my Apple plastic case, and even my leather case with a plastic holder. Pretty impressive.

I’ve had this charger for a year now and it still works, which might be a record for me when it comes to chargers I’ve gotten off Amazon.However if you need a charge relatively quickly this is not the charger for you. I get a max of 2% every 10 minutes. By far the slowest charger I’ve had.

I’ll admit that I bought this charger largely because of its looks — I’m always excited to find electronics that aren’t black plastic, and this matches perfectly with the new Logitech K380 keyboard in rose that I bought simultaneously for use with my iPhone 12 mini. I didn’t expect it to charge as quickly as it does! Because the mini is so small, I sometimes have to fuss a little in placing my phone on the mount in exactly the right position so the charging kicks in (hence the one star off). It’s otherwise a great component in my phone setup.

I love the ease of charging my phone! The shelf is sturdy and keeps my phone in place. I can’t charge with my pop socket, so I had to get a new case or charge it with the case off. It’s a small trade off for the usefulness of this item.The color is beautiful—though I wish native would also get the denim so my case would match!I have a full charge every day!I would note that at times the cord from the wall to the charger can get loose. So make sure the light comes on when you charge. Overall I’m really happy with this expensive wireless charger. I wish I’d waited until Black Friday. So if you can wait, the sales are incredible deals’

I purchased several of these wireless charger stands, because I love them!! Sturdy, functional, and they work fast and in a predictable manner. I use the very robust Otter Box case, and the charger still powers fast as advertised. You can get cheaper products, but save your time and shop Native Union. I bet I have 30+ cords, My clients love them and I give them as gifts. They are all over the house, cabin, office and vehicles. I really love this company. Once I have a charger that was not behaving as expected. After a quick and efficient email with support and a replacement is on the way. 10 stars for this company and its top notch products!

I actually bought this unit since I wanted a stand for face id on a future iphone. I own an iphone 8 plus and will be upgrading. I was not too concerned about the wireless aspect. I had read Native Union cables are superb. So thought this a good opportunity to try their cable as well. The unit is well made and quite heavy. Thus stable. The cable is 1.98m with a leather tie on it. It also has a rectangle cut into the plug to cable link to allow flexing. The unit has a small led on the top but covered by the charging surface. I find the light quite useful. Since it changes from white to red if you have not positioned your phone correctly. There have been time with my Mophie puck type wireless charger where it has not been positioned correctly and my phone has not charged. But the Mophie until now has been my best wireless charger. I would say you do pay more for a Native Union product. But you get a very solid and elegant product. If you buy it at the right time, it is not much more than other manufacturers. And if you have problem they have a life time guarantee on the cable and you can extend the warranty for free from two years to three on the unit. Make sure you register on their site and take a screen shot of your order to enable registration. I will say I bought a second one a day or so later and that was faulty. It had bump on the surface which stopped charging contact. But I just sent it back and received a refund. So overall an excellent product and it makes using it a pleasure. So for me an excellent purchase. And I will be looking at Native Union for other purchases.

To be fair, I’m basing this on my experience with Native Union products in general. I haven’t owned this particular device long enough to attest to reliability yet, but I will update my review if the charger fails.I own several Native Union products (cables, wall adapters, etc.), and I have found them to be some of the most well-crafted and well-designed products I own for charging my various mobile devices. I am a bit addicted to my smartphone and my tablet, so they need to be reliable. Running out of juice is not an option. I remember the old days of freaking out when I would wake up in the morning to discover that my charger had failed sometime during the night and my phone or tablet had failed to charge. Nooooooooo!Fortunately, I have never experienced this with a Native Union product. I have at least two Native Union charging products in every room of my house (yes, that includes the bathroom). I have only ever had to replace one of them (a charging cable). The warranty was honoured without any issues.This particular device seems to be working as expected. Both my partner and I have cases on our phones, and they charges without any fussing or issues. My case even has an integrated stand, and this did not interfere with the charging.It’s difficult for me to speak to charging speed because my phone was charging while I was sleeping and my phone battery is rarely low. However, if I ever have to recharge it from a depleted state or when I am not going to bed, I will update my review to reflect my observations.

I've been eyeing this for a while, as one of the classiest wireless chargers I could find. I picked it up during the black Friday sale and am extremely happy with it. It's a very premium feeling and looking product. The fabric finish looks stylish on a night stand. The included cable has a matching fabric braided cable, which I love to see included with a product like this. The base plate is a single, solid, heavy piece of steel. It conveys great confidence in the stability of this charger, which is important because of how upright it is. This was another reason I wanted this dock. So many chargers have a 30-45 degree tilt, so that a light plastic construction can cradle the centre of balance of a tall heavy phone. This charger has the phone maybe 10 degrees off 90, which makes it great next to a bed where you'll mostly be at eye level with it. Even with my extremely tall and heavy Samsung Note 20 Ultra, the charger feels steady, and my phone feels secure. I've included pictures of the dock on its own, and with my Note 20 Ultra on it. The charging performs as advertised, and happily works through my Samsung Leather Case. This is a very expensive product, especially with 15W fast wireless chargers now on the market at similar price points or less. But this product is competing not just as a functional charger, but as a stylish piece for your sidetable or desk. This charger wants you to place it front and centre, and to show it off. I think you should.
