The best photo book I've ever seen in my life, gives a very different perspective of the members of this group.

Imprescindible si eres fan de la banda. El libro vale cada euro que cuesta. La calidad de las fotos es impresionante y los textos (inglés bastante asequible si controlas un poco) acompañan muy bien a las imágenes.Me costó decidirme por el precio pero es una joya visual de los momentos clave en la historia de Deep Purple.

Imperdibile photo book per ogni appassionato sia della band che del rock in generale. Il prezzo è assolutamente competitivo. La prima consegna è arrivato danneggiato, sicuramente dal trasporto ma ho immediatamente contattato il servizio clienti che ha risolto la faccenda tempestivamente: in non oltre 5 giorni dal primo ordine effettuato, ho ricevuto il mio libro perfettamente integro.

Auch wer schon viel von DP kennt, wird in diesem Buch immer noch Bilder finden, die er bisher noch nicht gesehen hat.Schön gestaltetes Buch mit Anmerkungen von Didi Zill.Der Preis ist nicht ganz ohne, aber man hat doch einige Kilo Buch als Gegenwert.

For anyone interested, particularly, in the Mark II version of this band this is an essential book.The simplicity of the Ian Paice's drums, Ritchie making alterations to his Strat with a screwdriver and Jon hunched over his keys in a chilly hotel in Montreux is a far cry from the complicated stage sets and synthesizers, Apples perched on top of programmable keyboards and 'Autotune'. Just listen to what 'Machine Head' sounds like then look at the conditions it was recorded in.Another nice aspect of these pictures is the number that show Ian Gillan and Ritchie Blackmore smiling at each other. One in particular is notable with Ritchie leaning on Ian's shoulder in mid guitar-vocal duel and they both seem to be staring at the fretboard, thinking 'Where did that note come from?'If you are a long-term fan this is a great buy!

10年数振りに再編集されたDidi Zill氏に因る写真集。前回と重複する写真もあるが、前回載らなかった1993年のブラックモア在籍最後のツアー含め初公開された写真も満載でファンならばマストアイテム！モーズ加入以降の写真は、数頁。今回は、独語と共にその英訳も載っているので、幾分、内容が判るのもイイ。ブラックモアに関してだと名盤『MACHINE HEAD』録音中、自らギターを調整する姿や1973年来日中、仮面ライダーV３の変身ベルトを手にするお茶目な姿も見れる。再結成後に出演したネブワース。雨天で会場が泥沼状態だったと云うのは、有名だがブラックモアは、ステージ上でなんと長靴を履いている。各メンバーの自宅での写真からは、彼らがいかにDidi Zill氏を信頼していたかが、伺える。（特にあのブラックモアが、プライベートを公開するなんて・・・）又、ロニー時代のレインボーや『READY AN' WELLING』録音中のホワイトスネイクも載っている。一昨年前に発売された『CALIFORNIA JAM 1974』の写真集も素晴らしかったし、今回のも日本版が、発売されないのが、残念。
