Koogeek is so easy
Minor frustrations with "availability" but I think that has more to do with how Apple SUCKS lately than the koogeek product. This makes operating lights at home so easy!

Exactly what I expected
I like this plugs for several reasons.1. The price is right. For turning on/off some lamps, they do the job flawlessly.2. They work either local or remote. After setup, you can use the app even if there is no internet access (WiFI access is required tough, and both the device and your phone must be on the LAN). Or you can enable remote and you can use the app over the internet.3. The devices can be controlled outside the app. Very nice!They look well constructed and seem durable. That's the last test, how long will they keep working. So far, they are perfect.

Could not get it set up.
Could not get cell phone app to even get to the point of adding the plug. It kept telling me my PW was incorrect and never got to the point of being able do anything else. Attempted to delete app and start over, but no go.

High tech plug! Easy set up, so convenient!I set it up with my phone, so I can turn the lamp in my bedroom on and off without get up from the bed!

good value for a two pack
the plugs integrated seamlessly with the smartlife app, I use it on my air conditioner and a lamp. you can see how much electricity you're using for whatever is plugged into the socket

Work as advertised
I recently bought the Koogeek smart plugs at Amazon and they've been an excellent buy. The install is very easy through the app (I use an Android phone), you simply insert the smart plugs in the wall socket and look for them in the app. The self discovery made the process easy. Once hooked-up to your WiFi, I was able to go into my Google home app and assign them to rooms and groups. The best part, turning on or off those hard to reach plugs for the wall cabinets, or frequently used devices is a synch... The plugs have functioned flawlessly via their Google integration, or their own app... I would recommend the Koogeek smart plugs to any user... And you dont have to be super tech savy to use them.

good for the energy monitoring but has quirks
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a great high quality built smart plug with energy monitoring and the UI is greatly spread in the app for easy access but i have a couple problems with this. First, it has the oval shape which makes it take up the top plug as well which makes the top plug useless because no other accessories fit. Second, i don't know if its just me but i haven't been able to link my account for koogeek over to google home so i need to have a separate app for this and another app (google home) for all the other accessories.Other than that, this is a great quality plug.

Works well - as described
Integrates well with Alexa and Google Assistant - used one to control our outdoor Christmas lights which was cool as it gave an indication of the current draw on 5 strings of led lights (they hardly used any electricity). Our old Plasma tv used 250-480 watts - no wonder it's heat it gave off heated the living room well.

if it connects, it works, but there are better on the market, do your research.

I returned this product. Painful to set up.

No need of a hub
I’m a huge fan off Apple HomeKit... but this one hit the roof!!!
