Julep Boost Your Radiance Hydrating, Moisturizing, Reparative, Antioxidant Facial Oil with Rosehip Seed Oil, 25 mL

So this is a nice oil for the price. However I’m a product junkie and I have tried several that are better. Kiehls Midnight Recovery and Beauti Sleep Elixir beat this one by leaps and bounds, but are also much more pricey. I also did not like the bottle (it seemed to leak from the top down and there was always oil residue on it and it was just harder to get the oil sucked out from the dropper). Also the rosehip smell is quite strong. I personally didn’t like the scent but I know others do.

I purchased this product because I LOVE it and was no longer able to get it at Ulta. I don't know, but it seems a bit off. The box looks the same as the original I purchased at Ulta. The bottle itself is bigger, and the dropper is larger, cumbersome and does not work properly. And there was no clear cap for the product which there is on the original in-store purchase. The actual oil is a slightly darker color, feels a bit heavier, and does NOT smell as nice as the original in store purchase (which is one of my favorite things about the original product). Not sure what happened here, but I think I got scammed buying this product. I will definitely only purchase this product direct from either the supplier or an actual online department store site.

I love the Julep oil face wash so I wanted to give this a try. Unfortunately it made my face very greasy and caused some breakouts. I’ll do without it.

This is an interesting product. Not pure Rosehip oil, which has an earthy smell (that's the best way I can describe it), this is much more citrusy. And it's no surprise based on the ingredients. This has "Bergamot fruit oil" in it as well. There is nothing bad in this at all. If you go to the ewg dot org database you can confirm this yourself by doing a quick check of the ingredients listed. It does boast on the label that it is paraben free and made in the USA.I work for a natural products manufacturer who also makes PEG and Paraben free products and I can tell you it is hard to do and it necessarily makes the product more expensive than their less-natural counterparts (PEG and paraben preservatives are very cheap to use, and that is why they are in nearly every product you buy). Most people think you can just remove all the pegs and parabens and have a good product, but in practice, it's not so simple because you have scent/odor concerns, color or appearance concerns, shelf life concerns or texture concerns. This product being an oil was probably a little easier to do, and the ingredients list is nice and short. Kudos to Julep for making a clean formula, right here in the USA.I've been using this for a week and while that is too soon to see if there is any effect on wrinkles, it does add a lot of softness and moisture to my face. The scent it has is pleasant but dissipates quickly. The oil absorbs and leaves your face soft but not oily. A little dab will do you, and so this product will last a long time.EDIT 3/31/17 - Still really liking this product. My skin is softer when I use it. Makes my makeup look better if I use this first.

I love this product. I previously purchased it in an Ulta as recommended by my Esthetician. I have psoriasis and I live in the desert. I have struggled for years to find something that will keep my face moisturized year round. This is amazing. So glad I can still get this. Thanks Amazon!

I've been using this product for months now and I love the texture (not too oily) and it doesn't leave the residue on your skin. It makes my skin so smooth and great. I will keep buying this.
