Review after 6 monthsIt has a capacity of 50 litres.Put on the bag, put on the bag stop ring and the lid is mounted.As I said before and as you will see in the video, I got the one without buttons (in the product description it is indicated that there are keys to open and close as well as having the opening with sensor)a big problem is the lack of keys because it opens quietly even by hand.The sensor works very well, opens when you are at a distance of about 10 cm, stays open for 5 seconds and closes.If you want to leave it open more, you have to place your hand in front of the sensor.The sensor works thanks to 4 batteries not included.I find it really comfortable.Before that I had a pedal bin, among other things lower and I had the problem with dogs who could open the lid and pierce the bag from underneath.With this bin I solved it, they can't open it, it's high and so they don't get there, besides it's closed underneath it so no sack to break.

Self opening lid with sensir on front. Very sensitive so sets off every time you walk past it. Have had to turn it sideways as it goes off too much otherwise. Lid fits well. Good capacity.Batteries last a decent time.Morphy Richards website does not work but registered on phone for extra warranty

This is without a doubt the best rubbish bin I've ever bought, and its not too expensive either. I started using this bin in March of this year. I have just put the third rubbish bag in it, yet despite the recent high temperatures there are no "unwanted aromas" escaping. I would purchase one of these again, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I had an earlier model of Morphy Richards bin, with sensor, I had it for years, until I accidently banged the top with something. So had to get another one. The new one is nowhere as good as my last one. They have gone backwards in it's design, this one you cannot see the lights on the front because they are not on the top, unless your'e 3 foot tall. It doesn't always open when you want it to. there's no switch to press to keep the lid open for longer, when you have more stuff to put in it, like my older version. It is definately not worth the money. I can imagine tempers flaring in a busy kitchen, when trying to use it! It was actually slightly mishaped when I took it out of its box, the seam at the back wasn't flat! There is nothing good I can say about it, except to( Morphy Richards What the heck have you done with the previous design?!) I will be looking for another better modal, a different brand, that's for sure!
