Best gift this Christmas!!
I bought this as a fun little family gift for Christmas. (4 sons whose ages range from 11 to 25 + a husband that loves to throw balls in the house) We had a couple of expensive gifts this year, but I must say, this has been played with more than anything else we purchased. Today is January 18th, and my family has had fun with these snowballs every single day since Christmas… Seriously! It's honestly been a great stress reliever for my husband who has a very stressful job. And the nice thing is that if I accidentally get hit by one, no matter how hard, it does not hurt at all. They have also hit many pieces of furniture, with no damage done whatsoever. That's a plus in my book! We live in Texas, so this is this closest we will probably get to having a real snowball fight over here. Plus, we can play this all year round. I highly suggest this gift! It's worth every single penny.

Fun! Lots of different ways to play
The best kind of toys are those that encourage the use of imagination and it is a plus if it gets the kids moving! These "snow" balls are a LOT of fun. Get two buckets in a room without breakables and let the kids go at it.We use large boxes for each kid as shields and then we race to pick up as many snowballs we can gather as they are ammunition. It's a fun game. For the older kids they can try building a pyramid of snowballs - which is not as easy as it may seem. The package comes with a small insert with game suggestions. These are made in China and I couldn't find anywhere what they are made of. I think it's a kind of acrylic and feels soft enough to be thrown without causing damage (unless you are a baseball player I suppose). I liked the package as it is easy to open and close back up. It's the kind of package you can keep long term to easily store and transport the content: it closes back with snaps and has a handle for easy carrying. This package should last as long as the kids don't play with it as it is plastic. The balls are a good size and while they fit best in an average adult's hand - little kids can grab them and squish them with no trouble.Growing up on my mom's side of the family we were 11 cousins all born within about 10 years of each other. Something like this would have been super fun for us to do. We would have needed about 4 packs I think. My only complaint is that it would be better to have the pack come with twice as many snowballs. 25 is not an even number and you run out of balls fast in a "fight". So maybe get two packs if budget permits or if you have many children.

Very fun!
LOVE these. They are so fun and the kids in my classroom had a great time playing with them. I used them as a classroom management reward, in my lessons, during in-door recess, etc.Honestly you could use these for many things/games even outside of a classroom. If you're considering getting them...I would get them :). They keep their shape even after some pretty rough abuse! If I had a negative comment to make it would be that they do pick up lots of hair, or miscellaneous material, that may be on your floor. I do sort through them occasionally to clean them up.

This year I wanted to do something special for my great group of kids
I used these in my elementary Christmas play two Christmases ago. This year I wanted to do something special for my great group of kids, so gave them each a snowball with a candy cane tied to it. It was cheaper than anything else for 62 kids, and a great memory from the Christmas play. I have also given them to teachers as stress balls and........to kids who are sensitive to loud sounds! Our fire alarm is extremely loud. One snowball over each ear blocks out the sound!

Smaller than competitors leaving us disappointed
Snowball fight! Kids love the idea of throwing in the house. Unfortunately, this is the second batch i purchased to add to their collection and I’m truly disappointed in the size and weight of these in comparison to our old ones (making it difficult to throw with any distance or success) I recommend bypassing this brand

... balls would be worth the money but they are better than i could have imagined
I had my doubts that these balls would be worth the money but they are better than i could have imagined. My autistic students love the way they feel when you squeeze them (it actually crunches like snow) and they love throwing them at me when they answer a question correctly... even direct hit in the face never hurts. One concern for special ed teachers/parents: one student with Pica thinks the fuzz is delicious.

So cool!
This was a huge hit. They really are neat and have a "crunch" to them. We bought this as a Christmas present for our nephew, knowing his dad would love it just as much. First, when we were wrapping it, my daughter wanted to keep one ball out of the bunch--she liked them so much. I told her we'd just have to get our own. Then, on Christmas Day, after all the kids opened all their gifts, guess which one was getting all the action. Adults and children, the rest of the day, were tossing around snowballs. I plan on ordering another for us and giving more as a fun go-to gift when in need.

Grandkids love them
3 year olds in the south don't see snow much but they know what it is and love to pretend making snowballs. They loved this when they opened it and months later still love them. I like they way they simulate that snowball crunch when you pack them.
