The thread pitch for your focus is 3/4 so it should be perfectly fine.

Once you figure out where you're going to install it you will need to obtain the appropriate mounting hardware. In my case I made up some spacers and found a couple of bolts. You will also need to have some lines made up so you can plumb it to whatever system you are trying to cool. So the answer depends on your application and ingenuity. As far as tips; I would recommend using leak proof fittings such as JIC (flare) or SAE (o-ring). Mount the whole cooler, don't let it waggle from one end or you'll likely crack it eventually. I took a pic of my install, but I don't see how to post it. Good luck.
