WOW this thing is SUPER BRIGHT! 4000k Neutral Bright White but 70 CRI not for critical color
I have to say this flashlight is possibly the best solution if you are looking for a super bright light source with a very neutral white light. I am a professional photographer so I measured the light and it comes in at 4100k which is right in between Thungston 3000k and Daylight 5400k commonly referred to as "neutral white or bright white." Perfect for general use but it is not so great for Photography or Videography with critical colour only (explained more below) I highly recommend for anyone who wants the brightest light in a rechargeable handheld flashlight. Excellent!FOR THE MAJORITY OF ALL USERS YOU CAN END READING MY REVIEW HERE. ONLY CRITICAL COLOR SO IMPORTANT that every single shot needs to look perfectly beautiful on every single type of monitor used throughout the internet and mobile applications. If generally good color and an occasional odd colour cast doesn't bother you then don't read any further. If you are looking at this light to help fill in on colour critical professional video or photos shots then this light is not for you. If you want to understand why keep reading. For those who can accept a CRI = 70 which is just perfect for any light source for just about everyone but the most critical color/high-end pro video/photo.) I just want to caution when I measured this on Sekonic C-800 SpectroMaster Color Meter I noticed there were multiple spectrum bands on the meter that register as 0. While the average CRI = 70 which is passible for most video/photo I caution anyone using this light with critical colour. While the average CRI = 70 there are multiple bands of the colour spectrum which read 0 when measuring CRI. What does this mean? For general use, the naked eye can probably not detect any difference between a light measuring 70CRI vs a professional video light with CRI-95. So visually this doesn't matter nor does it apply to anyone but the very top critical color high-end video/photo.The breaking point is for me is that all my clients expect perfectly beautiful and easily colour correctable flesh tones. If this describes what you are using the light for then sadly keep looking. For everyone else, this is an incredible light.FULL DISCLOSURE most of what I shoot is high-end beauty, fashion or branding so every second of video has to show perfect flesh tones. Which means for most people this light will be an excellent light source. For those few that demand critical colour and perfect flesh tones this is not a good product as flesh tones MAY appear with odd color casts which absolutely can not be fixed by any program on the market. I doubted this when the first LED video lights came out and shot a video for a beauty client and the flesh tones looked beautiful on set in the camera but once we got into a grading program we some really odd looking colour casts which were entirely unpredictable and absolutely no amount of colour grading was able to fix these slight odd colour casts. I always thought that if I shot in RAW I could colour balance after the fact and if needed apply a colour curve to correct any flesh tone color casts. However when the lighting has gaps in the colour spectrum where some ranges colour register as 0 these color casts simply can not ever be corrected by any software on the market. Period. Why can't colour casts be fixed by any colour grading software? Well, all color grading/correction works with basic math equations. The killer issue arises when you have qty 0 of a band of the color spectrum. What is 0 x 2= 0 or 0 x 150 = 0. Colour adjustments are essentially math equations and simply can not work on colour spectrums which equal 0. Anything times zero always equals the same result or 0. So these tiny gaps come across to the naked eye as flesh tones that at first look spot on but depending on what type of monitor these same flesh tones can have dramatic and very odd color casts which simply can not be adjusted or corrected... because any value x 0 always equals the same amount 0. Therefore no type of color curve or adjustment short of painting the pixels a static colour will address these tiny gaps of 0 amount of light through these tiny gaps in the colour spectrum. The problem comes in when you shoot video/photo and always depend on beautiful looking skin tones every time. I would argue that most photo/video this would work just fine but for those few who have to produce perfect skin tones every time... keep looking. The gaps in the colour spectrum create odd colour casts that CAN NOT BE CORRECTED BY ANY PROGRAM! Don't risk it if you are a high end pro... this light is so useful and would be such a perfect pro video tool if they could fix the tiny multiple gaps throughout the colour spectrum. These gaps simply can never be fixed no matter what cost or amount of color correction. Colour casts caused by lightiing with a lower CRI with gaps in the colour spectrum can never be fixed simply because anything x 0 is always the same 0 or no correction. This only shows up occasionally and I have only experienced this with the first-gen of LED lights a very very long time ago. Pro video LED lighting now has eliminated these gaps and offers many LED pro lighting without colour spectrum gaps. Sadly this light shows multiple gaps in the color spectrum where the light reads as 0. These will create odd unpredictabe colour casts in very high-end flesh tones. If you didn't understand why anything lower than CRI 90 is acceptable for video and even then pro lights have eliminated any "gaps" in the colour spectrum so that any color cast has a value over 0 and thus can be easily corrected. Hope this helps people. If it doesn't apply to you now you know the basics of why professional high CRI lighting is needed for pro video/photo. Hope this helps! Cheers, J

This light is a BEAST!
I do corporate security for a railroad company and I spend a lot of time patrolling tracks and trains in the dark. Not anymore. This light brings the noon sunlight of an August afternoon. The first time I turned it on wicked bright I honestly felt like it tore the fabric of space and time in my back yard. There are now a couple cats who are permanently blinded by this light roaming my neighborhood. Poor things. This is not a toy. It can burn the back of your eyeball and make a permanent ghost in your vision. Just sayin. I hope it eventually goes away.

Best brick I ever bought
Yes, holding it feels like pointing a cinder block at something..Yes, it gets warm quickly on the maximum setting. It's also a great way to light a dark path for your friends, and an easy way to blind your enemies.I'm not sure whether to stow this with my camping gear, or to keep it next to my bed for personal protection. Either way, it'll get the job done.

Possible fire hazard
The highest option just before turbo (as well as turbo) takes maybe 20-30 seconds before you need to use an oven mit to hold the flashlight, otherwise this will burn your hand. You literally cannot hold it and will end up throwing it down. Is it bright? Yes, very- but this really isn't safe to use. Aside from being a burn hazard, if this were left powered on and unattended, I could see this flashlight also being a fire hazard because the temperature my unit reached gave zero indication of an auto-shutoff safeguard to protect against potential hazards. It's also heavy, wish it ran cooler.

Brighter than I can accurately depict with any camera I own
Insanely powerful and well-builtI'd like to further state that it's even better when it's cold outside. Lasts longer at higher power settings(meaning your hands won't burn as fast) and keeps your hands warm as well.

16000+ lumens
I love this TN50 since it's very bright. The build quality is still at the top. Easy to use and so is the UI. Only thinking of how to replace the battery in the future though. I still love this flashlight. <3
