Soft Plush Hanging Hammock for Cat, Ferret, Rabbit, Chinchilla, Cat, Guinea Pig

Life takes twists and turns you may not be expecting. My long term desire to get a housecat was put on hold earlier this year when my wife gave birth. Couldn’t handle a new cat and a new baby. Of course, several weeks later a random mother cat (with a litter of two) abandons one of her kittens in my greenhouse - which teaches me for leaving it open for the local cats to snooze away a lazy afternoon in during the summer. The kitten was at death’s door by the time I gave in and accepted she was abandoned. After 8 weeks our kitten, named Poco, is doing very well. Why tell you this? Well, because of our arrangements, to keep everyone safe we’ve had to get a cage for Poco to go to when a certain grabby baby is around and also to spend nights in. It’s a rather swish four level cage - also from Amazon - which we hope to be a temporary measure. No matter how temporary, however, I want this arrangement to be more of a comfy nest rather than a prison cell. This hammock was a really great, affordable treat that had the added benefit of given her a extra level from which to survey her domain. It took a few attempts for her to figure out how to use it and for me to figure out where the best place to put it in her cage was. She adores the warm material - super comfy - my wife likes the polka dot pattern and I like that its easy to keep clean for a little kitty who’s still learning about after-meal hygiene. Our kitten will sit purring in her new ‘penthouse’ hammock facing toward us in an evening, other times she’ll chase her tail while hanging out of it and, once, she even brought a houseguest - her toy mouse- up to visit.As well as being a comfy place to sleep, the hammock is a great enrichment device and makes me less uncomfortable about having to put the kitten in a cage at all. It clips to the bars of the cage and is easy to install, but I imagine it will take a bit of trial and error before you find the right amount of 'sag' in the hammock that suits the tastes of the particular pet using it.I highly recommend this product.

Very soft and secureSmaller than I ecpected

Decent quality hammock, very good size, straps are a good length for hanging from the top of my rat cage. Fleece lining is nice and soft. Would recommend

I don't understand why this has 4 stars. I am critical of products and give this a 5 star, easy. I have boy rats and they love this hammock. It is a good size for rats. Study and soft. Easy to clean. I just bought it again. The first one is fine. After a year is still going strong. I have two rats and want another so they both have one - for the times when they do not want to snuggle.

The media could not be loaded.  It arrived 3 days earlier. I am very happy with this hammock. I am looking forward to have my new cat next week.

This was so small waste of money definitely no good for a cat ..maybe for a tiny kitten but definitely not a cat .

Disappointed with the size of it the material is lovely and is nicely made but unless your cat is small they will struggle. Shame really as very quick service, great product. Just to small for my requirement

Las uso como hamacas en el transportin y están bien. El problema es que al lavarlas en la lavadora se le rompen los enganches.

Die Hängematte sieht optisch sehr schön aus und fässt sich auch so an. Auch wenn sie nicht chemisch riecht empfehle ich sie zuerst zu waschenAlles in allem super!
