As far as sleeping better and weighted blankets in general, I'll need to spend a few weeks determining that. As far as this blanket being 60"x80" & 20 lbs as well as looking like the pictures I can confirm (it might be just shy of 60" with the hem, but it'll only go to the edges of a Queen at the full 60" anyhow so you'll need to get used to not having it drape). Stepped on the scale immediately on opening, the pattern is unique and as described. The blue is vibrant, I'm not sure if I'm 100% a fan, but it is as shown.The price was awesome - some of these blankets are up to $200, which is bananas. I'm sure it's a supply/demand thing as they're 'trending' I suppose.I haven't been too hot at all with this blanket, in fact it's been a welcome change since my last comforter was cooking me. So it breathes well, it's weighted as advertised, & the price point is significantly better than most. Sold.

Very comfortable! Takes a couple nights to get used to it, but I’ve found I sleep better and longer with it. Nice and warm too.Only problem is that after 3 nights, I’m finding significant sandy residue on my bed from the blanket. It’s annoying to clean, and I’m worried it’ll lose its weight over time. I can’t find any contact info for the manufacturer either.

Perfect size for my 2 year and 9 mo old granddaughter who has been diagnosed with a form of SPD. She just started OT and thought I would implement this into her therapy at home. I take care of her M-F for about 11 hours a day. So far, it's been great. She loves it! Use it for her naps and lay it over her lap while she watches TV. I bought the 5lb. one and it seems to be a good weight. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has sensory processing issues.

I like to sleep with pillows around me, and thought this might be a better alternative. Also, after the other reviews, I wanted to see if it might help me sleep better through the night. I bought the 20 lb and I think the weight is perfect. As another person put it, this feels like a hug. It drapes around me and makes me feel like I'm in a "cocoon" without being too heavy or too hot. My kids love it too, I'm tempted to get them one as well. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that it only feels too heavy when I'm trying to lift it off. Makes me not want to get out of bed in the morning! If you enjoy feeling "snuggled", you'll love it!

I love this blanket. I have 2 weighted blankets now and I love both of them. I wanted to use this one for a couple of weeks before reviewing... Because I knew it would be a bit different from the other one I own. My other blanket is a bit heavier (which I like a bit more), but this one doesnt make any noise (the other one does).I live in texas and my a.c. broke the other day. This blanket did not have me overheating too much.I am sleeping just as well as when I use my heavier weighted blanket. It's perfect :)

For the past year or so I've seen these weighted blankets and seeing the claims about what they can do. As an admitted " skeptic" about the next big craze type of things I didn't pay much attention to them. Being someone that suffers from insomnia (not having had a complete night's sleep in over 10 years) and fibromyalgia , I picked one up in the store just to feel the weight and thought of I found one at a good price I'd try it. Then I found this one at a great price and size, I knew the time was now. I wasn't quite sure about the 22 lbs but went for it . Out of the box it felt a bit heavy but I thought let me see what it was like before I criticized it. So off to bed that night I felt snug and comfortable, my pain level was tolerable so I turned on the TV and saw about 15minutes of my show...The next thing I saw was the Sun coming through the curtains! I slept all night, I slept so soundly that husband had to wake me up to take our dog out .That was three weeks ago and each night was spent in restful , less painful sleep. I'm not a skeptic anymore, these blankets work and I'm a 60 year old, 220 pound woman and it isn't too heavy for me . I wouldn't be without my " blankie" now. I highly, highly recommend this blanket.

Big enough to drape over the edges of my queen sized bed, which is great, because I don't have to adjust it as often. The pockets keep the weight distributed evenly. It has plenty of loops for attaching a duvet cover, if you want. This weight is good for a skinny person sleeping alone or with a body pillow. It definitely helps me to sleep through the night without waking up as often and helps me to fall asleep quicker. It doesn't get hot or humid unless I get under it after exercising or a hot shower, but even then I cool off in a few minutes. I've been using it every night for about a month, I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional comforter.

This blanket is exceedingly well made. It has small divisions of weighted pockets such that there is no bunching. I love the size. Ten pounds is just right for my old bones (arthritic 62 year old), and at 5'2" I love the 60x48 size. I use it the long way down my torso with my feet free, though still under my regular blanket. Love the 6 tie loops, it stayed nicely in the cover I bought. Just once the cover slid on my other blanket, it would slide off my bed and onto the floor. Try it without a cover first.

Would buy again anytime!!!
