Good size
I got this to replace the basketball hoop rim on my sons basketball hoop. The basketball hoop fell down over the winter and broke the rim. I got this as a replacement.Seems pretty straightforward and easy to use. Four bolts on and off it looks like. You should be able to use the existing bolt to have. It also comes with the net. Overall, I like the design.

GYMAX Basketball HOOP
The hoop looked great but the material that it is made of is poor: very soft and bends with every touch of the basketball. It was bent in two places just after two two days of use by my son. Now it is almost broken after being used for less than a month. As a result I am requesting a refund.

Strong enough for outdoor use!
The basketball rim features a heavy-duty solid steel frame,sturdy enough for outdoor use.Easy to install,so far so good!

This is exactly what we've been looking for
I bought this as a temporary solution for my 6 year old son because he is a short man and has yet to build the arm strength to shoot at a 7.5 foot basket. The basket was just enough for him to try shooting, which he now shoots for 1-2 hours every day. This is what we have been looking for and hoping for. The price is good, too.

Broke in 2 places within the first 9 months.
Rim broke in two different places. One of the holding cross members came undone and the actual Hollow rim broke right where it comes into the main bracket that attaches to the backboard. It was played on maybe 20 to 25 times logging Maybe 50 hours of Total use. Clearly poor welding. Was never slammed on. None of the kids playing on this room I had enough vertical leap to slam a basketball. Disappointing

Very convenient, durable, and overall good hoop.
This is a very convenient and durable hoop. You can place it basically anywhere - it fits on all standard backboards and you can even use it on doors. You can also place the rim indoors or outdoors depending on where you are choosing to play, which is, again, very convenient. The material is also rust-proof, which is definitely a plus. Product recommended.
