The Essential Cheetah Figure
I'm making this figure review differently than I have here on Amazon for other figures, because I am not opening this figure . . . at least for now. I have viewed many video reviews for this figure, which made me decide to purchase it, and with my Amazon Prime, it came the very next day from ordering it. No waiting a week, because I just bought the two McFarlane Wonder Woman 84 figures. I had remembered the New 52 comics where Cheetah went after the Justice League and Wonder Woman, and how this DC Essential Cheetah is based on that artwork. Having looked into the figure reviews, this is probably THE FINEST figure that DC Collectibles and Mattel have ever produced and here's why . . .First off they used a basic female Buck for this, which is ideal for her, because she isn't designed in the comic this is derived from, with all kinds of scruff all over her body. She is a short haired kitty. The sculpting that needed to be done specifically for this figure was the head, and the belt, necklace pieces, and the tail. Also, they sculpted her hands and feet. All of these pieces were sculpted beautifully. The basic buck has allowed them to focus on the paint applications for this featured character, which has been something special, and has been really lacking for DC Collectibles, because I really didn't find much that I liked in all these collections through the years. The Multiverse and Collectibles lines for DC have never appealed to me. I am sad that the Essentials were not widely released and were stopped after only a handful of figures before DC signed on with McFarlane. This figure HAS a fantastic paint scheme. The browns and tans are blended purrrrrfectly. Her cheetah spots are not 'cookie cutter' applied, in so much that they look the same. Somehow they applied them with machinery apps, yet they look 'organic' and naturally random. Her face looks appropriately sinister and beautiful, and you really can FEEL her character come out in her quiet but menacing expression. Her tail is a really, REALLY interesting feat of engineering, also. The star sculptor who worked on this figure did something incredible with it. It is segmented in three parts, allowing you to pose her tail in a number of ways, and it feels clean and organic. You can situate it as straight as possible, or as wavy and turmoiled as you want. It's hands down the best tail sculpt ever, and is just one of the many things elevating this figure above all others before it. The scale is in line with McFarlanes stinkin' tall Wonder Woman. She measures out at 7.25 inches and Cheetah is about 6.45. Now the disparity in measurements is nominal because if you examine the feet, Wonder Woman is wearing her High Heel Boots, and Cheetah is barefooted. Her feet are positioned FLAT, which if you take her heel and match it up with either WW84 figure, you quickly see that the hips, waist, and shoulder joints match up with the size of them. She is scaled perfectly with the McFarlane figures. She will be shorter than Armor Diana and Wonder Woman, but only for lack of heel elevation.I never pictured myself buying any of the previous Cheetah figures from the aforementioned line-ups, but seeing this one really got my interest, because I want a great Cheetah to go along with my WW84 figs that I just got. The Cheetah awareness from this film is growing and will explode when the film is released and people will be looking for ANY figure of Cheetah, to buy. McFarlane hasn't shown anything in the upcoming line-ups regarding DCEU Film characters, so we don't have a guaranteed film Cheetah figure based on Kristen Wiig coming to the figure line. I hope we get one on the line-up and that it's gonna be great, but it's not for sure. No one also knows whether we will get a Batfleck or Cavill-El to complete the DC Trinity with the WW84 Wonder Woman figs we just got. I feel like they were a fluke, kinda unexpected, but beautiful figs. So if you are on the fence about any DC Essentials figures, make the buy for this one because when it's gone, it IS GONE. And it is ESSENTIAL for you to purchase this one.

A great figure
The sculpting and detail on this figure are excellent. A bit (approx. 1/2 to 1 inch) taller the the similar Marvel Legends series figures. The articulation allows for a lot of poses, though be careful posing the first time as, with all highly detail figures, some joins may stick due to the paint application. The figure can't quite crouch but can be placed in some great action poses, but I suggest using a figure stand as the multi-segmented tail causes it to tip backwards if bumped. Comes nicely packaged, but looks great on a shelf. Over all though, A great figure, and one of my favorites.

Pure Awesomeness!
She is not only the best cheetah figure in this (6''/7'') scale range also the best figure in Essentials line too for me. There is so much things I really like about this figure, first of all the articulation range is too high and awesomely balanced also as you can see the sculpt is so amazing no need to describe much about it and the best thing about this figure that I really love, if you not her fan or even not a Dc fan too but if you love human-animal hybrits this figure fits very well for it too.And the things I don't like are actually not about this figure but about the qualty check that DC collectibles made. Maybe you already know if you familiar with Dc figures some figures are extremely defective paint jobs. If you are lucky you get awesome figures .Anyways, about size she stand too close to 17cm which makes her close to 6.6'' inch. I made a size comparison with Batman from same Essentials line (sorry I cannot show her with wonder woman I'm not fan of her I don't think I'll buy her :P) So thats all, hope this rewiew helps you about this figure. Have a nice day!

Hole on bottom of foot doesn’t fit stand
Opening the box i immediately loved it! The way her face looks is amazing! Downside is that the hole on the bottom of her foot is so small that it won’t fit on a stand. So i have to balance her so she can stand straight up and hope that she doesn’t fall over.

Great figure no accessories
She looks awesome and has a very beautiful and elegant sculpting and sooo poseable blows the marvel legends females in my collection out of the water. As is she's great but I wish she came with an extra head or hands at least

Amazing sculpt and paint apps
Finally a Cheetah figure with enough articulation to do her justice, or injustice. Of the two, the Cheetah figure has a better sculpt and paint apps vs the Essentials Wonder Woman. This figure will scale well with other Wonder Woman figures so feel free to mix and match. It would have been nice to have accessoeries like an Urzkatarga plant or a cursed dagger but Cheetah doesn't use weapons so no real loss.
