Love this trash can. Especially when guest are over. I don't have to change the the bag every thirty minutes because it is full. Looks good also.

Great heavy duty garbage. Easy to clean and built well

Sturdy. Soft-Close lid. Streamlined...it's tall but low profile, fits snugly next to the wall. I love the foot peddle so when I'm baking/cooking I don't have to touch the lid with messy hands. A quality 13 gal bag brand fits perfectly. I got my unit on sale, free ship with PRIME. Couldn't be happier (unless I didn't have to cook every day) ☺ I'm only deducting one star due to the original cost, which is pricey for plastic. If you can, wait until it's On Sale.

Lid Worked well. Good value

My husband complained that our standard 13 gallon kitchen trash can didn’t hold enough. He is the one who takes out the trash - so I started looking for a larger trash can that would work in the space we have. Our home is under 150” sq ft, so a huge trashcan just wasn’t an option. This is perfect. It’s taller than our old one but still slim enough that it works in a regular kitchen - even though it says ‘commercial’. My only complaint is that if you are trying to open the lid while sitting down - or from above it - you can’t. The lid has no lip or knob to allow you to raise the lid without using the foot lever.

I was so excited when I saw this unit. My wife and I had just completely upgraded our kitchen and we had a lot of RED counter-top appliances. So, I bought this unit in red for around $130 or so through Amazon. Just so you know, there are 3 snaps on the back of the top piece/lid that snap/pivot on the back of the floor unit... All seemed well for a few months and then the middle snap/clip that holds the top to the back of the plastic can, came lose. I was able to snap it back into place a few times but then it never would snap back in and hold after that. Now, the leftmost snap has come lose of the bottom can also. Doesn't make any difference if you snap it back in place or not, first time you step on the pedal, BAM, it snaps out. Now I have an expensive garbage can that will not close properly. I have a friend, who after seeing this unit back about 9 months ago bought the same one for his wife. Guess what, the same problem. Please take heed to this message, while this is a great looking garbage can, it will not hold up long-term. I'm so disappointed and now have to go looking for another 24 gal can.

El mejor cubo de basura que nunca he tenido. No voy a mentir, del todo no se cierra (como apuntan otros), queda un pelin abierto. Supongo que con limar un poco el tope de plastico ya esta. A mí no me molesta, se ve de calidad excepcional, buenos materiales y acabados, excepcional formal y con visos de durar en el tiempo. Gran producto.

I had one of those ninestar sensor bins before this, and they gave me so much trouble with the sensor being stuck most of the time and the odour dissipating all throughout the house due to a bad seal etc. So far this bin has sealed odours well, as well as holding lots of garbage due to it's design allowing me to compact trash much easier.
