Video probably saved the lives of me and my wife.
I bought this video years ago, lost it when I loaned it to a friend who loaned it to someone else, etc. It was years before I took the Experienced Riding Program offered by MSF.I just bought it again since I need the refresher. After looking at the video multiple times and practicing on my 1500 Kawasaki Vulcan using painted parking spaces in an empty parking lot, my wife and I were on the Copper Road in SE Tennessee, which winds through the Smokie Mountains, past the whitewater site of the '86 Olympics, and on to Copper Hill. Tight, water on one side, mountain on the other.Unfortunately, semi's were still allowed on that road at that time. We encountered one on a tight left turn. He was well into our lane, and so close I could see our reflection in his huge chrome bumper.I forced my head to my right, and the bike followed perfectly, missing the truck.I then realized I was facing a guardrail, so I jerked my head to the left, and found the 1/3rd lane the truck had left us. I aimed my eyes at the lane space, and we safely passed through, with inches to spare. You will see practice this driven home in the video. That technique is worth the price of the video alone, but the others are just as important. The whole thing took maybe five seconds, and were doing no more than 20 MPH due to the tightness of the curve. The obvious problem was the entrance of the semi-truck and the fact we were about to go under it.Highly, highly recommended. You may think you are a good rider, but after watching this, you will learn.Without the skills I had watched and practiced on this video at that time, I would not be typing this right now. That is why I bought a second copy, to watch over and over as I now own a full dresser, at a bit over 900 lbs.

Excellent DVD!
Excellent DVD!!! Husband & I enjoyed watching it so much, it encouraged us to take the actual class to improve and gain new riding skills. Can't wait! Class is this Saturday! 😀Keep the rubber side down 😉*UPDATE* We (the husband, a friend & myself) took the actual riding class on June 29, 2017 and it was pretty awesome!!The entire class, pre~booked, was completely filled with large ‘Bagger’ style motorcycles. The 3 of us were the only ones on sport style bikes (all 3 of us had our Ducati’s; the husbands 2015 Diavel, our friends 2011 Monster 796 & my 2014 Monster 696).I was amazed at how agile those giant baggers can be!! Unfortunately, all of our Ducati’s have a higher center of gravity then those baggers & that definitely made it a bit trickier for us, but we all did well & had an amazing time doing it!I highly recommend ANY rider with ANY style bike to see if the class is offered by you, and take it!! You will be truly amazed at what you can do with your bike! There is always room for improvement. There were people of all ages at the class, so I feel it would be beneficial for any rider, new or the well seasoned, at any age.I feel that it definitely helped me become a better rider. 🏍

Awesome exercises that WILL make you a better Rider.
Professionally done video that will make you a better rider IF you do the exercises faithfully. I have taken the Basic Motor Cycle Safety Foundations Course and it was excellent. I do practice lots and I believe this MSF course was instrumental in saving me from certain injury. It teaches you how to stay ouy of trouble. SLOW DOWN.ATGATT. Even in the hot weather. This DVD should be watched AFTER you have had the Basic MSF riders hands-on course. EVERYONE who rides should have the hands-on course at minimum ONCE in their life. This RIDE LIKE A PRO video is an excellent adjunct with excellent exercises that WILL make you more proficient and confident. Riders who do these exercises FAITHFULLY will probably be in the top 10% of all riders in terms of skill. This is only a guess. I believe the percentage is probably even smaller. I took this instead of another hands-on course as they are not cheap, but still worth it.

A must for beginning and experienced riders
I had heard several of my motorcycle friends refer to this video several times. I finally got it, with the attitude of an open mind, after all, I have been riding a motorcycle since the late 60's, I knew how to ride!!!! I had even taken several motorcycle safety skills courses)Boy was I wrong! If you have not practiced these skills, you are just riding your bike, you are not in control of it or a safe rider.I had a quick wake up call, when I first attempted these slow speed control skills. It does take practice....at every opportunity...or you loose the skills. In this video Jerry takes you through the essential skills to efficiently and effectively control your motorcycle. His emphases on taking your time and mastering a skill before moving on is right on. He does not rush you into trying something you are over your head in. The rider is NOT talked down to, but is educated on performing skills that are very well demonstrated, plus as an added bonus, you are provided diagrams so you can go out and safely practice the skills.I admit, I was surprised.I recommend this video to all riders at all skills levels.Be SafeTom

Clutch & Throttle!
Great illustration on size doesn't matter. Technique is what counts.

Good video for new riders, or those looking to improve their skills.
I have been considering buying this video for awhile, but held off for some reason. With my oldest son starting to ride again after a 2 year hiatus, I thought it was time to finally get the DVD. All I can say is that I wish I had bought it sooner for all of us to view. The video goes over the three skills / techniques riders need to develop in order to bring their riding ability to the next level. And it does it in an easy to understand method. The exercises shown are very good, and shown in an order that builds on each other.Although the instruction is very good, I think that some of the video shots could have been a bit better. There are times where I thought that if the video had been zoomed in a little closer, that it might have been more beneficial for the viewer.

Money well spent
Good DVD, it worth the money. The key is to actually use it to check/ improve your riding skills. Delivery was good, no issues.
