Light Stax 4-in-1 Light up Building Bricks (160 Blocks) – Fantasy Set Blocks w/Rechargeable Battery Pack & USB Cable

Super cool building block set. Have to make sure the blocks are secured so they all light. My daughter loves them. Not sure how many we can put together but it would be cool to add additional lighting blocks to make them brighter.

This item was a gift to my grandson; it was to add to a Light Stax kit he first received two years ago.

The base block that makes them light up will not charge and so you can’t take it off the power. I thought I was buying the larger size ones instead these are very small LEGO size. They need to better specify this in the description. Also for the price it doesn’t seem worth the amount of pieces that come in it. They spent more money on the packaging than making sure it works. My son likes them but it’s disappointing to not be able to use the base as intended.

We have a classic Light Stax set and purchased the reptile set to add to our collection and are shocked that it does not include instructions. The reptile designs are far too difficult to build without step by step instructions.

One of the coolest building kits we've gotten in a LONG time. the instructions are TERRIBLE, but the quality is really good on the bricks, and the lights are really bright. Would love to give it 5 stars, but they need to completely redo the instruction manual.

I was a backer of the Light Stax crowd funding campaign last year, and really pleased with the results. I am also glad to see the line is now easily available in the States. I purchased this set to add to my already established collection, and used the massive number of green bricks to make an illuminated Christmas tree.

He loves it

These Legos are kinda hard to push together and they only allow a short usb cord to connect to power the light. They have to be plugged in to light up and so the problem is that it won't reach sitting on any table or dresser the cord it way too short to do anything . It does do different functions like flashing lights etc. The amount of Legos you get does not allow you do build much and they could use more colors. All in all the design is cool but the short cord is a bummer.

Present for a 5 year old who loved it

Die Kinder sind von den leuchtenden Bausteinen fasziniert und spielen gerne damit. Dafür gibt es fünf Sterne. Wo viel Licht ist, ist auch Schatten. Die Bauanleitungen sind für meine Kinder im Grundschulalter nicht nachvollziehbar und ich hatte auch oft zu rätseln, wie die Steine zu setzen sind. Da sind wir von Lego doch etwas verwöhnt. Die Bausteine neigen sehr zu Kontaktschwierigkeiten der elektrischen Verbindung. Dann ist hoher Anpressdruck oder sogar das Umsetzen der Steine erforderlich.Die nichttransparenten Steine leuchten nur schwach. Der Anschluß eines Netzteils erhöht die Lichtstärke gegenüber dem Betrieb mit Akku deutlich. Wer Light Stax in Lego einbauen möchte, benötigt ein Set mit Verbindungskabeln, da Legosteine bekanntlich keinen Strom weiterleiten und sollte zu den transparenten Light Stax greifen.
