I had lost my garage door remote and needed to replace it but because of my situation I was not able to reach the learn button on the opener mounted to the ceiling. This meant I had to find a way to clone my wife's remote. That's when this comes in. I tried the regular remotes but the instruction never worked out correctly and I was not able to program successfully. Finally, I found this and the instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Also, the remote is so small that you could literally put it anywhere. This was quick and easy to program and actually works at a greater distance than the traditional cheaper ones.

Ordered two, which work flawlessly and had no defects. I expected much much less for the price and I was gladly impressed. The buttons feel solid, the range is great and it's very easy to clone remotes, especially older ones with no rolling codes.As others have mentioned, this works just like a Homelink device, it clones remotes, you don't need to access the motor unless it's a recent rolling code one. Completely removes the need to have 3 or 4 massive remotes clipped to your sun visors. Super happy with this purchase.

This item receives three stars due to ease to program. But it failed to clone my Liftmaster gate remote. Instructions in listing are clear and easy to follow. While this clone capable opener didn’t work for me, it may work for your application, which is why it isn’t getting 1 star.

Great product works fantastic and pretty simple to program just go slow and you will get it programmed and love it.

I saw a blog recommending this as one of the few remotes that came read a code from another remote. As my universal remote can’t be duplicated and I need 2 remotes for 2 cars. But each time I program a second one the first one is erases. I suppose it’s for safety. So I read this would work and I found it on Amazon . It’s a no brand product from China that looks of poor quality. But I didn’t mind as long as it works. The instructions were so small and poorly written I searched YouTube for a video. Found several and I watched it 3 times to ensure I understood what to do. Then I followed it exactly. But did not work. I saw the comments said sometimes clicking twice rather than holding down the original remote worked. I will try tomorrow but otherwise it’s going back cuz it does not work.

Did exactly what it promises to do. I have consolidated control of 2 garage doors and a gate, no hiccups. It's worth mentioning that if it doesn't run your garage door right off the bat, you can usually 'learn' it in after you've saved the code to a button.I used this to clip it onto my visor.
