Light and compact - Works perfectly
I had lost my garage door remote and needed to replace it but because of my situation I was not able to reach the learn button on the opener mounted to the ceiling. This meant I had to find a way to clone my wife's remote. That's when this comes in. I tried the regular remotes but the instruction never worked out correctly and I was not able to program successfully. Finally, I found this and the instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Also, the remote is so small that you could literally put it anywhere. This was quick and easy to program and actually works at a greater distance than the traditional cheaper ones.

Did Not Work for Me, But May Work for You
This item receives three stars due to ease to program. But it failed to clone my Liftmaster gate remote. Instructions in listing are clear and easy to follow. While this clone capable opener didn’t work for me, it may work for your application, which is why it isn’t getting 1 star.

My god, this little guy is great!
Ordered two, which work flawlessly and had no defects. I expected much much less for the price and I was gladly impressed. The buttons feel solid, the range is great and it's very easy to clone remotes, especially older ones with no rolling codes. As others have mentioned, this works just like a Homelink device, it clones remotes, you don't need to access the motor unless it's a recent rolling code one. Completely removes the need to have 3 or 4 massive remotes clipped to your sun visors. Super happy with this purchase.

Works with vintage Overhead Door Model 450A
The 450A original OEM remote operates at 380 Mhz, which is virtually a non-existent option now for replacement after market remotes. This (multi-frequency) universal remote offers a viable replacement alternative for older doors. New universal remote is key fob size (much smaller than circa 1990 OEM remote opener). Note: This is learning remote and thus requires a working OEM garage door remote to allow universal remote to be programmed for use. Additionally, instructions provided via post purchase email are significantly better than instructions included in package insert. If you rely strictly on package insert instructions, many will have trouble setting up device due to missing (inferred) steps and poor English translation.

Doesn’t work
Like so many other models I’ve tried, this allowed me to program just one button. I confirmed the system was compatible.

It freakin worked!
The first couple of attempts it did not work. But after it learned the first one, the other three were a breeze. Keep both clickers looking at each other and off the table..in air. Follow instructions by pressing 1 steadily while pressing 2 four times until it blinks. Keep pressing the old clicker until the new one blinks faster. Let go off old one and press the desired button on new unit. A mirror with homelink would cost north of $300 and installation is a nightmare. For several dollars, just stick this with velcro on the visor and you are set. It learned three different clickers . It's effective, good value, light and looks good.
