Organic St Johns Wort Tea, 8 Ounces

Excellent choice for those who love this tea. Contains 1/2lb of flowers, nicely selected, clean and properly sealed in a sturdy package. Only flowers, no stems or fillers, makes a great tea. Highly recommend. Premium quality.Compared with the little bags for individual servings, it's a bit less convenient if you're mostly preparing single cups (you might need a "ball strainer" that keeps contained the tea flowers for dipping in hot water), but the quality of the tea FAR exceeds the need for added effort at preparation. I mostly use a teakettle for making larger amounts, the old fashion way, and it works perfectly.Do yourself a favor and stop usign these little tea bags filled with whatever.

I like the packaging of Manana Organic's St. John's Wort. It has a clean professional look. The herb itself smelled great when I opened the sealed bag. The color of the herb in alcohol is a beautiful orange red. I tincture for 3 months in an incubator, so won't know about the actual quality of the plant until I decant at the Spring equinox; first impression is very positive.However, I do have one significant issue with this product - Manana is not specifying their organic certification firm; the USDA does not certify companies, it only publishes standards.Update 4JAN14:Manna Organic responded with their certifier information below. Spectacular tea. Great for bad days. Destressed in about 15 minutes every time I use it. It has a wonderful aroma while steeping. Tastes amazing mixed or alone. I personally like to top mine off with a cinnamon stick or two.Here's my favorite delicious combination for this tea:2 tsp st. Johns wort1tsp green tea1tsp peppermint leaves2 cinnamon sticks.Side note: if using for madicinal purposes you have to cover it while steeping or usually it will evaporate most of the medicinal properties.

Bought this to replace the citalopram I was on. Citalopram made me gain weight suddenly and rapidly after 8 months. I drink two cups of this in the morning/early afternoon, and two in the evening. It worked right away, probably because I had just stopped my meds. Keeps my mood at bay and I feel more balanced during the day. Work is not getting to me like it usually does. I recommend if you don't want the side effects of prescriptions.

Makes a flavorful, vividly colored tea. I know this is typically used to treat depression, but I use this in place of mild over the counter painkillers (like Tylenol) and have found it works well to offer relief for headaches, body pains and menstrual cramps, especially when blended with equal parts of chamomile and lavendar ( Findlavender Culinary Lavender 4 Oz. ).

This is an A+ product. I got my on time and I am totally amazed with this! I WILL be ordering more for my family members. Order this and you will be extremely satisfied with the quality. I am going to see what else this company sells

This is def. good quality herb. It helps to replenish serotonin levels and combat depression. I highly recommend tea over tincture, main reason is because it is cheaper.
