This shelf fit perfectly in a small space next to my recliner. The length and width are generous and it sticks out from the wall about 7 inches, which is good as it does not get in the way. It is, by itself, a very durable two-tiered shelf and was easy to put together..I used an electric drill for holes and screws; it made it easier. At present, I have about 15 pounds of weight total on the shelf. Each individual wooden shelf is very sturdy.I tried putting up with the 'screw' type anchors (my preference) included but, disappointingly, they ate the drywall, so I had to use plastic wall anchors. (Not the fault of the seller--sometimes the screw-type anchors eat drywall..depending on drywall type, etc.). I didn't use the plastic wall anchors they gave me, but instead I had some larger anchors which, I felt, were more supportive, though what they supplied would have worked as well. I am glad that there were four attachments to the wall vs two attachments to add more support. Though the anchors worked well, I still wanted to ensure more support so I also bought two wooden brackets (about 5 x 4) and attached to the bottom corners and I also put two square (3 x 3) decorative wooden blocks in the middle underneath each shelf. I attached all of them with contractor's cement. Even without the brackets and blocks, the shelf held well, but the brackets and blocks give more support and they actually improve the look of the shelf as well. Overall, I am pleased with it and it helps improve space and storage more neatly.

I purchased these shelves for keeping my fragrance collection. The materials are top quality and assembly is easy. Because the wood of the shelves is soft there are no pre-drilled holes in the shelf pieces for screwing them onto the frame, but this not a big deal. All you have to do is align the shelves properly and get to work. A regular screwdriver (not electric) is sufficient.For mounting the shelf unit to the wall you will want a small electric drill and a hammer.Once I had the shelves up I decided to fit some black, matte-finish shelf liner over the top of the wood surfaces to provide just a little more grip for the glass bottles.All in all, a really nice item!

The shelf looks beautiful. The wood coloring and grain look great with the flat black metal supports, which are angled stylishly. I purchased one several months ago, and now that I need more shelving, just bought four more. The shelf is sturdy and holds a large amount of items.

Nice, solid product that's carefully packed in a appropriately-sized, compact box. I was impressed by the message inside, which reinforced what I had already begun forming an opinion as: "quality."This is pre-assembled, which is good and bad. The good is that you can determine spacing easily. The bad is that it is a bit clumsy in figuring out where to drill the holes while simultaneously holding up the shelf to position it. I was placing mine above a toilet, so I did a search for what was the best height above that to place a shelf. I was also contending with a cabinet that opened towards it, which I acknowledged wouldn't open fully, but sufficiently, when this install was through. I put a small level on it while juggling the twin tasks. I marked the holes, drilled them to fit the included anchor bolts (which were sufficient for the task), tapped them in, and put in the screws. Now, the shelf stands proudly and solidly in my bathroom, adding more storage and functionality to that space.

This is a pretty shelf but it was very frustrating for an individual person to assemble, which is why I gave this four stars instead of five.It would have been so much easier for me if the holes for the shelves had come pre-drilled. You will need help putting this together, so badger your S/O to help you or find a friend who owes you a favor. This is not something one person can assemble. It's just not. You need someone holding the shelf steady and another person screwing the shelves into the holes.

This was easy to put together and hang on my own. It looks great above the toilet in my bathroom, and I was able to fill it with spa-like decor.

This shelf unit is space conscious, well-designed and packaged. Good value and it matches decor in "Rustic Silver". Will likely order another!

I needed this shelf for my study where I could place some decorative pieces and add a touch of color. It serves the purpose well. The product came properly packaged. They included spare screws and anchors, which was thoughtful and much appreciated. With most wall mounted shelves, the positions of the mounting screws can be a bit of a challenge but it tool about 20 minutes to finish assembly and installation - that speaks to the ease of using this product.Recommended as a light-weight shelf, just don't pile up a lot of heavy books or stone statues on it. The installation guide says 25 lbs on each is the maximum but I did not test it.
