These appeared to be black in photo but are actually a dark gray color.
I purchased new bedding for my daughters room and I am going with a beach theme. These are absolutely perfect for the wall and a nice accent with the blue/ green colors throughout. Nice weight also. They are not too heavy for the wall yet sturdy enough.
