Copa Big Papa 17 inch Hi-Seat Heavy Duty Beach Chair

I searched for a beach chair that sat up higher, because my husband has a bad back and knees, and low chairs are hard on him. This one fit the bill perfectly. He is 260 lb, and this chair was plenty roomy and strong. The cup holder is great, and the carrying strap too. Highly recommend this.

Speaking as a fairly large guy at 6'1 and 220 lbs, these chairs are very durable. The last set lasted us 2 years, which doesn't sound like much for the price, but we are retired and live on the Treasure Coast of Florida and we're taking these chairs to the beach probably 250 days a year. They're also very comfortable and will recline so you can take a nice nap. They're also high enough off the ground that my wife who has trouble with her knees can easily get in and out of. The bottom line is that when these wear out, I'll replace them with another set.

I bought this chair back in 2017. I only used it on 3 beach trips since then, this past summer (2018) it broke on me! I purchased this due to it supposedly supporting up to 300 pounds. I am around 250 pounds, so thinking I'm good! While sitting on it in the sand, the front just bent in half where it meets front cross bar connection. This chair cost me over $100.00 and totally it is an overpriced piece of crap! I should of have wrote the review after it happened, now I'm seeing this in my Amazon feed to purchase again!! NO WAY!!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!

Really comfortable. The bent front makes the chair everything I was hoping for. Easy to carry and sits plenty high. Cup holder big enough for a can with a coosie. Also 16 Oz insulated cup fits nicely.

What I like most about this beach chair is that it is wide enough so that you can turn comfortably to look around you without having to get up. Second, it is about 1-2 inches higher off the sand making it much easier to get up and out of it!

Bought this beach chair for a trip I was taking to the Gulf Shores. I really like this chair! Between the comfort, ease of transporting, cup and phone holder, and being able to recline with ease I was so thankful that I chose Copa Big Papa 17. It was also nice sitting higher up like a regular lawn chair instead of most beach chairs and it is a solid chair. Highly recommend this chair!

This chair has the perfect height. It also reclines easily. The pillow is also a nice feature. Started with this on my back deck and it is headed to the beach for sand and surf enjoyment. The added sealed pocket does fit an iPhone 13 with an otter box and you can scroll your screen while in the sealed pocket. Nice chair.

We needed good strong beach chairs that didnt need to be replaced every year. These are a bit costly but exactly what we need.
