Have an old saw that no longer works?
I had an old (around 40 years old) Milwaukee worm drive saw that had stopped working. I thought it worth trying to fix it myself and bought these.It took a bit of effort to remove the old ones, which were visibly worn, and a bit more effort to istall them. I am not sure it works as well as a new saw - but will definitly say it works well.If your old saw (May fit other motors) is no longer turning or doing so very weakly, something like this may make you able to save money from buying another tool. Try it - its very easy to change out and well worth the effort.

Skil Saw Replacement Brushes
I used these to replace the brushes in a Skil 5380 saw. The replacement brushes for this saw have been discontinued and unavailable anywhere, so I tried these. By clipping the copper base and using sandpaper to remove some of the brush material on the side and length, I was able to make it fit in the original holder. The pressure of the spring holds them in place and making contact. Saw works great again!

Saw up and running again.
I thought my 41 year old Skill worm drive saw was done for because it suddenly began to arc and spark badly around the back side where the brushes are. Then I found these very affordable brushes and thought I would give them a try. At first the saw was slow running then the brushes seated and it is running great again. They were a perfect match for my saw and I will probably get many more years of use with an inexpensive fix.

Didn't fit
Didnt fit our Skil Compound miter saw. It was hard to purchase because we had to try one that fits our saw, because that company doesn't make replacements for this saw anymore anymore.

Bosch 4000 table saw brushes
This brushes don't fit theyvare to small for this Bosch 4000 table saw ! To bad I toke to long to fix it ! Looks like I can't send it back anymore but I'm going to call this people !
