Awesome sound board
I purchased this sound board for the worship ministry at our church. The sanctuary holds around 200 people and the wifi signal allows you to control the board from anywhere in the church.....I even adjusted volume from a class room down the hall from the sanctuary just to see if it would work and it was still instantaneous. The AP is easy to use and has several great features... There are some good YouTube videos that help with setting up and getting familiar with the board. My only wish would be that the board could be operated with an Android device instead of iOS only.

Mackie makes good stuff
i'm a pro audio guy and have been using Mackie gear for 25 years. they've gone up and down in quality sometimes, but often have the best tool for certain applications; this is definitely one of those. there are now a gazillion wireless mixers, but Mackie has the best interface, and the best price-performance point in this space. i use it with an Airport Extreme i bought off a friend cheap, and it's rock solid from my iPad Mini 2 (needs the adapter) and iPhone, even in big venues.

BEST. MIXER. EVER!
I knew what I wanted before I even bought this, since my last band had an earlier version of this model. The Master Fader iPad app is complex and can take some getting used to, but it's only complicated because this mixer is just so flexible and powerful.I bought this to run my band's live shows, primarily because it allows every musician to have their own dedicated monitor mix, which they each have private control over using their own mobile devices. The apps allows you to set access controls, enabling a configuration where each band member only has control of their own monitor mix without accidentally clobbering each others' mixes, or affecting the master mix to the PA.There are of course other, slightly less expensive mixers that can do this same kind of functionality, but Mackie just does it so much more elegantly. Their interface is carefully designed to be as intuitive as possible, helping minimize those moments of "oh crap, how do I fix this?" in the middle of your show. I've always been a huge fan of Mackie products, and once again they did not disappoint.I even bought a set of Mackie's powered PA speakers to run the mixer through, and they sound amazing too. We're now running full Mackie all the way and we sound superb!

Four Stars
The product itself is ok, but the software is not 100% intuitive.

32 Channels of Pure Bliss
This mixer is awesome! I've owned it for a couple of months now and used it a number of times. It has performed flawlessly. Also own its little brother, the dl1608, and it is flawless as well. Now I have more effects, more channels, more auxes, and the ability to make multi-track recordings, just to name a few things. I run a small pro-audio company. Using digital mixer with iPad control surface, I no longer have to haul and set up a multichannel snake and effects rack, which has cut at least 30 minutes off of my set-up/tear-down time. I can move around the venue and mix from anywhere. No more need to take up valuable floor space with a large mixer and effect rack. No more patrons tripping over multi-channel snake and drop cord. The only drawback so far is when I work with a musical act that has their own sound person and they are not familiar with mixing on an iPad. But wait, maybe that isn't a drawback afterall. I heartily recommend this mixer.

review and test first.
I have been doing sound for years, I recently purchased this unit. Works ok overall...some issues. REVERBS suck! no way around that. The wifi has left me with no control so many times I lost count. we have loaded latest firmware, software, apps etc...still left us hi and dry at a wedding last week. Im thinking I will try out the presonus and behringer models. I also hate being locked down to using MAC crap. You mileage may vary. HARRY

AWFULL EXPERIENCE
The equipment does not receive sound signal, neither input nor output. It doesn't work.

All 32 ports in a single chassis
I choose this board because I wanted another digital board which didn't require a snake. I also had owned the Behringer X32 and XR18 ... This rack mounted version included all 32 XLRs on board with the last 8 ports 25-32 being dual XLR and 1/4" jack ports. With the X32 need to use the digital snake to get all 32 ports... $900 more. Also with 14 Aux out.. there is no need worry about outputs. All the Aux ports have audio delays built in the firmware.. The sux ports on the XR18 do not, there for you won't be able to delay your side fills. The re-synching of the Ipad, if you turn it off for a while is nearly 2 seconds. Two fans are mounted on the unit which makes it really nice... Remember that most features are merely firmware that does improve from version to version. So use this review as preliminary in your search, always refer to the manufacturer for final word.
