Works perfectly on a Nvidia Tesla P100
I received two just like the listing said, thank you Amazon! It worked perfectly on the Nvidia Tesla P100 in a Supermicro 1U Server. I could not get this thing to work but then purchased this cable and the system came right up and the card was identified!

Works great for my Tesla K80, a bit pricey
I picked up the Tesla K80 version, just want I needed because other cables off my PSU would not quite fit. The standard 6+2 PCIe connector has an off-center latch that won't fit the K80, and another cable I found has two pin bodies with an extra wall between that, or others have the +2 pins flipped around. This worked! A bit pricey for what you get, though.

Why Nvidia? Why?
It boggles my mind that we have standards FOR A REASON. Yet, Nvidia thought it would be smart to put an 8-pin connector on a GPU that DOES NOT USE THE STANDARD PCI-e 8 PIN CONNECTOR. Oh no! It uses.... the 8-pin CPU connector. Why Nvidia? Why? This adapter will convert the 8 PIN CPU connector to 2x 8 PIN PCI-e connectors. Why Nvidia?

Worked great in reverse to power Kepler cards in a modern server
We need to keep some Kepler cards around for regression testing (K20, K40, K80). Our old servers had aged out so I was able to plug these into a modern server to provide power to these cards and continue testing.

Acheté pour des Nvidia Tesla v100 Parfait

Ich wünschte der Adapter wäre besser gekennzeichnet. es ist ein PCIE 8 Pin zu 12V EPS Adapter. Zum Glück kannte ich die Tesla Karten und konnte direkt danach suchen. Eine Alternative habe ich nicht gefunden, nur einen sehr günstigen 6 Pin PCIE (1x) zu 8 Pin EPS. Diesem würde ich nicht trauen, - 75W über PCIE und 150W über EPS - da fängt etwas Feuer. Den Adapter habe ich mit PSU Tester getestet. Es lief alles super - danach darüber die zweite CPU in meiner Dual CPU Workstation betrieben - läuft super. Hatte ein etwas älteres Netzteil (hohe Qualität, 750W, aber nur 1x 8 Pin EPS). Der Adapter läuft perfekt. English below: It's hard to find this adapter, because it's advertised for Tesla cards but is actually just 2x8 pin PCIE to 8 Pin 12V EPS. I knew about the GPUs though, which enabled me to find this. Upon arrival, I tested it with a PSU tester and am now running my 2nd CPU in a dual CPU workstation thanks to this adapter. The PSU is a tad bit older, but high quality. Unfortunately, it only came with one CPU power connector, so this adapter was necessary. Works really well, cables don't feel hot to the touch even at 200W CPU power draw.
