So much better than disposable wipes!
Love these!! They work so much better than regular disposable wipes because they actually CLEAN my baby. Disposable wipes tend to smear the mess around and I end up using 2-4 wipes, but with these one wipe does the trick for even big messes!! And the 2 different textures is perfect for more grip when it's needed and less when it's not. I also use these for washcloths and burp cloths on occasion (different color so I don't use ones for her bottom on other areas). Very happy with this product :)

Nice, but TOO thick compared to others.
I decided to try several types of cloth wipes, since every type gets such mixed reviews and these Swaddlebees wipes were the "splurge" purchase. They are thick and soft and well made, having now taken several trips through the sanitizing cycle with our cloth diapers. But I have to say that they are not really effective as wipes because they are SO thick, and they are smallish (5x8 rather than 8x8) so you can't really fold them to get into bottom crannies. I use them as a first pass wipe on my 2 year old's big messes, then I have to get a thin wipe to finish the job. I can't use these at all on my newborn! All the thinner wipes get negative reviews from people complaining about how flimsy they are, but I've found the "flimsy" to be more manuverable. My basic wipes stash is 24 (three 8 packs) of the cheap white Gerber baby washcloths pre dampened with water mixed with a few drops of baby oil and CA Baby diaper area wash, and it's the best, cheapest way to go... the original 8 pack has stood up to two years of use and hot washes! I also got two 4 packs of nicer bamboo terry single layer wipes and I'll say I like them a tiny bit better than the Gerbers, but they are twice the price of the Gerbers for half the number of wipes. Wipes are for poop, so don't overthink or overpay for them!

great for everything!
If only my wife would use these instead of paper towels and paper napkins, we would save a lot of money!

Clean well, great colors
I recently purchased several different kinds of wipes. I liked the shape and color of these, which is why I ordered them. They are soft, cute and clean well. But they're a bit pricier than other wipes that perform equally well, so I probably wouldn't buy them again.

Velour / Sherpa Wipes
These are very nice wipes. The fabric is exactly what it claims to be: 80% cotton, 20% poly. This is enough cotton for the fabric to be very absorbent, but the polyester baking helps with durability. Some of the other wipes I've purchased seemed to have a much higher polyester content than the description claimed, so I appreciate getting what I thought I would. These wipes are expensive, but most wipes made with high quality fabrics are. If you want a more affordable option, try inexpensive baby washcloths. We've been using these wipes for almost two years now. We mostly use them as family cloth (i.e. cloth toilet "paper"), but they also serve as baby wipes and cleaning cloths. They've been through many hot wash cycles over the past couple years, since I wash them at least twice a week, every week. I often use the sanitize cycle and sometimes add bleach to the load. I can't say they still look new, but they still look nice, are soft, and have lots of wear left. None of them have holes, nor has the serging come undone. In contrast, some of the baby washcloths I bought at the same time and use the same way have developed bald spots and have hanging serging threads that knot up in the wash.As for my impressions while using the wipes as family cloth, I appreciate the two sides. The sherpa has more texture for wiping big messes, while the velour is softer and smoother yet still grabs onto smaller messy bits. I like the thickness. It's nice to use a wipe that can actually absorb, rather than having to fold a thinner washcloth several times in an attempt to avoid liquid going all the way through the fabric while wiping. The size is perfect. They're large enough to cover the hand and can be folded to wipe a second or third time, but not so large they hang into the toilet during use.

Nice quality
I actually use these for washcloths for after meals instead of diaper wipes. I use a thinner material wipe instead. These are so thick that only a few will fit in the cloth warmer. That being said, these are well made, soft and thick. I gave them 4 stars only because of the price.

My favorite wipes!
I've tried several other wipes including Thirsties and regular baby washcloths, and these are by far my favorite. They're the perfect size to fit in a wipey warmer without needing folding, and they're awesome at poop grabbing from the very beginning! (Several other wipes I tried wouldn't pick up anything until they were washed several times). I've been using these for a year, and I see no sign of wear. They're still soft, too!

Pretty good, but a bit pricey
These wipes work well, but they are kind of expensive. I have supplemented my wipe supply with regular washcloths. These are nice and thick and durable, though.
