Good product. Worth the money if you use your Peltor system regularly.
The Peltor Stero input cable is a fairly high quality product. Its thick, durable and of similar quality to cables featured on many high end headsets meant for ICOM series radios. The function is flawless, and It's handy that I can turn off active listening on my headset while still being able to listen to audio. This is a fairly high priced product, but considering that many Peltor systems run $200-500 you can't really be surprised at accessory price-gouging.On a side-note, I find a lot of the reviews here to be a bit slanted. Yes, this is a high priced product, probably too high. That doesn't diminish the quality of the product. A product is not garbage just because it is cost prohibitive for some.

Its to be used outside in a high noise environment. I used it twice...once on my smart phone the other on my ipod. It worked with and I heard a lot of static as if there was a short in the cord or it did not work. High priced with poor quality. It had a very odd looking plug in jack that went into the headphones......think that was the issue. In an effort to make it so you have to buy there special cord, they made it worthless.

Very little product for the money.
Although I enjoy my Peltor headset as a means of hearing protection I am very unhappy with the cost of the cable.

It works, but its really annoying that it is so expensive. The peltors are great, and the only way to make it work with a radio is these.

Worth while accessory.
Cable enables outside sound source such as iPhone etc., to be interfaced with 3M Peltor hearing protector. I often use to listen to Sirius while mowing lawn.

OEM Cable for a Decent Price
I have been looking for an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) audio cable for my Peltor Tactical Ear Protection for some time. I found one on Amazon for a decent price and ordered it. It was just what I needed. Now I can use my Peltor system to listen to VHF radio calls as well as music and entertainment.

I am mad that I had to spend the money to buy this product when my headphones should have included it. I spent enough money on them .
