Works, but keeps you drowsy
For me it takes between 30-60 minutes to get tired. It hits really fast at once. I stop feeling any pain because I'm tired. Sleeping it off though is hard because even with 8 hours, I still wake up drowsy a bit. Not too much that I wouldn't drive, but still a bit slow. Of course it's different for everyone, but get enough sleep to try to sleep it all off.

Life-savers
I used to need at least 3 of these pills to control my cramps.I have always had chronic menstrual cramps, until I got on birth control. The pills lessened my cramps but I still needed some pain pills. I could always depend on these Midol PMs.Now, that I'm on the depo shot, I rarely cramp up or have any discomfort. But, when I do, compared to 3 pills, I only need just one now to control and stop my cramps, altogether. I always keep two boxes handy, just in case. My life-savers!
