Makes good tea

I realise this is very cheap, but i bought this kettle in march and i only have at most 2 cups of tea a day... usually 1. and it has melted around the part that fits into the base.I picked it up and it lifted the base with it and poured boiling water all over my work surfaces... luckily not on me or anyone else.I would complain to the seller but i'm not able to reach them.Not happy at all.

1.7 litres is of course a normal size. I like the fact that it is clear on both sides so you can see how much water is available for use. Easy to clean and easy to refill with water. Very impressed by the price. Would definitely buy again.

Ite.was fast to boil but had a plastic taste in the boiled water - even after changing water and boiling again. Do not waste your money.

Wanted a cheap kettle to take to the office and this fits the bill and does the job. The quality is good for the price.

Seems like a dumb design to have the power lead on the front. Now the steam goes straight up the wall
