SPARES2GO Water Container Tank for Candy Tumble Dryer

The dreaded door-reservoir-model leaky dryer is well documented, I believe it spans brands such as Candy and Hoover, manybe others. Some people give up and buy new machines, others fight their manufacturer over several technician visits, all of which costs money, time, and anguish spent over piles of damp laundry. I was one of those warriors. Until, it hit me: check that door tank thing. See, it looks like the leak comes from under the dryer, but if you are realllllly careful with your examination, you can see tiiiiiny little drip marks coming from inside the damn door. But the tank holds water! It's not leaking! I empty it every time, I carry it from the dryer to the bathroom where I empty the water down the loo, and it never once has leaked on that trip! No, because the trip is too short. But a drying cycle isn't, dear friends. What happens, is, that wonderful easy-to-empty tank just isn't designed for the constant hot and cold of the dryer (bad Candy, naughty Hoover), and if you look verrrrrrrrrrrrry carefully you will spot some microcracks near the bottom seal. Stress fractures from all the fast heating and cooling it does. They are tiny. You will swear you can't see them. Until the day you buy this wondrous replacement door tank, and your dryer leaks no more. Not a single drop has been spilt since I purchased this mighty duplicate. My floor remains as dry as my t shirts, the door is as arid as the Sahara during a particularly warm spell. I'm guessing it'll be another 2 years before the same thing happens again and I need to replace the replacement. Currently trying to decide whether to stock up now, or hope they're still being sold in 2023. Good luck, comrades. Enjoy your drought.

Just what I ordered. Did have a hickup with the delivery schedule but the seller was very helpful and reassuring. Fits my Candy condenser tumble dryer. Seems to be doing to the job perfectly 👌

Slightly smaller than the original and therefor not a perfect fit , the result of this being it felt out when I opened the door hit the floor and bit broke off !

Perfect replacement. Relieved to no longer have the tumble dryer leaking.

This water tank falls off the dryer door and breaks easily! I've bought 3 replacements now! Needs a redesign!!
