Star Wars Lightsaber Thumb Wrestling: (Lightsaber Book Games for Kids, Star Wars Game Book)

This is so adorable and awesome!! I got this for my grandson and I can't wait to give it to him.

Cute idea, and my 6 year old enjoyed it, but just for a few minutes before tiring of it. It's harder to tell when someone gets a "hit" and loses, unlike regular thumb wrestling when one thumb is pinned down, so there is a clear winner. So in our house this turned into, - "I got you!", "No you didn't!", "Yes I did!" etc. One way to play was you win when your opponent's light saber comes off their thumb. That's probably the best way to play. Otherwise we like it, and our only complaint is that you have to rip off the plastic to get the light sabers out, so there's no way to store them / put them back after use. I just taped the plastic piece back on every time, but it would have been better if you could actually store the light sabers with the book after use so you don't end up losing pieces.

My daughter saw a Facebook meme with this and added it to her Christmas list. While she has not received it yet, I expect she will be thrilled. She is 25 and has just re-watched all of the Star wars movies before seeing the newest. The little light sabers are adorable and I believe this will be fun. I think this is a must have item for Star Wars fans, with the seemingly millions of items that have been released for the movie, several of which I have purchased, I think this one is the best Star Wars fan gift I have seen.

Ok but would NOT but again

I got this as a gift for a Star Wars fan and it was a hit. It's one of those cute, funny gifts. It has mini light sabers that you put on your thumbs and then you flip through the book to find a battle to reenact using the descriptions in the book. There are battle scenarios from all of the movies, so it really is a fun read too.

OK, so it's quirky. But chances are if you are reading this review you have a geeky friend, or better yet, you are a bit geeky yourself. Personally i love it. I think it's very cute and makes a nice and affordable gift. You probably won't use it a ton, but it feels tough and durable enough to last few a few Light-saber thumb-wars :)

Bought as a gift for a friend of my young son. He's star wars crazy and this game was a huge hit!

This is one of those cute gifts for people who like Star Wars. Suitable for any occasion and great for a bit of a laugh. Different thumb wrestling scenes and scenarios. My husband has played it with my 4 year-old and the sabers have held up so all good here.

Looking forward to give this as a Christmas gift

I thought this was a great little add-on gift for my 10yo 'star-wars mad' nephew, we had loads of fun playing it, but like all gifts like this, the fun didn't last long. Oh well.
