WORKS WELL
When I ordered this pricey one, I also ordered 3 cheap ones. No comparison. This thing really works well on the feet and legs while hitting big waves on my 25 foot boat offshore. Well made. Looks like it will last a long time. I weigh 210lbs. Seems hard until you hit a good wave. Does not slip on wet deck. Save your back and legs, get one, or two! Just as a side light, when I was young and foolish, 50 years ago, I used to take a 23 foot Mako, 50 miles out into the North Atlantic fishing from Montauk at full speed. I actually broke the aluminum gas tank. I never worried about my body. Years later I had to have back surgery. Boat pounding really does a lot of damage to your back long term

Its worth it.
Awesome durable anti fatigue mat for the boat. Although I do wish it was a tad cheaper, you can appreciate the time invested into its design. If you can afford it, you wont be disappointed. Straight out of the box, you will probably think its too firm, but I have to recommend you giving it a chance. It softens up just the right amount with use, and you'll be thankful its not too cushy on the rough days.

Don't Expect Cushioned Comfort Out of the Box
Purchased based on general reviews of quality and shock absorbency, but it's much harder than I expected. I'm ~200 lbs. and couldn't make a dent in it. Going off another review, I purchased a 1/2" thick yoga mat, cut it to size, and insert it between the outer skin and the shock absorbing pad. Took five minutes from start to finish and it's much more comfortable now. It's pricey considering the fact that I had to modify it to make it comfortable, but I consider it high quality materials and believe it will last a very long time with some very minor maintenance.

Great product!!
It's heavy-duty and if you stuff an extra 1/2 foam pad in there( not included) it's amazing. This is to take the shock of the waves. It's not soft.

Nice padding but a trip hazzard
Colors: 2, not much flexibility there. Size: 1, same as above. It was too long for my dual console, the pad stuck out into the walkway area. The padding is pretty good. But for the high price and the limits of colors and size, I returned it. I had a foam flooring installed.

Worth the money
When I saw the price of $200 I was not thrilled but I wanted a good mat and it was highly recommended so I bit the bullet and bought it.. When it arrived it sure felt too stiff and I was wondering if I would like it. To make a long story short, I used it on a bumpy ride and it's amazing! It absorbs the shock perfectly. Knowing what I know now about it if it was $300 I would still buy it.

Way to expensive and not that comfortable.
This mat is way too hard and provides very little cushion. I run a charter boat in St. Thomas Virgin Islands and on my feet at least 4hr a day running in 3-5ft seas. The cheap kitchen mats from home depot are way more comfortable they just don't last. I think I might take out the center shock core and replace with a softer material.

Skydex
After 2 months using this pad I have to say that is absolutely worth it. I work as a captain for a private vessel, 48’ center console with quad merc 450’s and we do some long runs to the Bahamas going at high speeds for long periods of time and the next morning with out the Skydex my lower back was just killing me, my feet where killing me, now that is a thing of the past. It makes a real difference.
