Why ironworker pliers are the best linesman pliers.
These are the large head, hardened, “ironworker” pliers. What makes them ironworker pliers are the kick out on the handle and they more aggressive knurling on the jaws. They also have a spring in the handle although some ironworker pliers do not have a spring — that is a matter of user preference. But what they are for me are excellent linesman pliers. The head is the same as any Klein linesman, just a bit more aggressive jaws. If you don’t need a fish tape puller or crimper, these are the best lineman pliers because of the spring. I may be called a hack, but I like springs in my pliers and these fit the bill.

Having spring loaded linesman style pliers is awesome
In my opinion, Klein makes the absolute best pliers there are.This has been my go-to tool for cutting, bending and twisting hanger wire for acoustical ceilings for over 21 years now.I always add a set of red handle covers made by Klein. I cut the blue ones off, wrap a layer of electrical tape around the handles, boil some water, dip the handles in the water and then slide them on. It takes some maneuvering to get them on but it gives you a meatier handle and the are extremely durable. The spring is the real reason I use this model. It makes using them ideal.Excellent product and quality from Klein.I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone in need this type of tool. They are well worth the money!!

They will out live me
I was fixing some fence using some cheap pliers. I told my wife "I'm going to buy some good pliers, I don't care if they cost $50!" Well, after researching online for "high quality pliers", I chose this Klein model that had all the features I needed, and yeah, they were $50! They will out live me for sure! And, I had to have the spring load feature so you don't have to do the tedious finger opening grip! If you can love pliers, then I love these!
