Love!
This 36-grid wooden cell phone holder has been an excellent addition to my classroom! It’s sturdy, spacious, and helps keep phones organized during class time. Each slot fits phones of various sizes, and the natural wood design adds a nice, clean look to the room. It’s a great way to keep students’ phones out of sight and distractions at bay while still allowing easy access when needed. It’s also super easy to set up and fits neatly on a desk or shelf. Definitely a helpful organizational tool for any classroom!

Good Solution
As an educator, my fellow colleagues can attest to the challenges faced in dealing with high school kids, especially when they all have cell phones. My room isn’t structured for a hanging collection, so when I saw this I thought this would be a great solution. The only real negative that I have is that I had to spend a great deal of time adding tabs with numbers on them. A school setting requires a practical approach and to avoid students being careless an accidentally taking the wrong device numbers are needed. A great upgrade the company can make to this is to do as I did and devise an easy visible set of numbers at the back of each slot. Doing so will make this PERFECT!

Perfect for my high school classroom
Teachers know the cellphone struggle. It’s daily, it’s every class period, it’s most students. After years of fighting for cellphones, this is what has worked. I took my classroom rolling metal cart and turned it into a phone station. I roll the cart to the door. “No cell phone, no entrance” is what I tell them. At first I did it without chargers and there was a lot of push back at the door.I decided that I needed a way to encourage cooperation, so I added the phone chargers and sanitation spa. Red cords are Apple chargers, blue cords are android chargers. I use a large power strip so they can use their own chargers too. My kiddos that are germ-a-phobes use the sanitation spa. What are the results? 98% cooperation. 3 out of 160 students fight it. That is so much easier than 60% of students fighting it. They have learned to appreciate the chargers. They are so addicted to their cell phones that their phones die on them during the day from usage. So now they are forced to charge it, but in the long run, they appreciate it because it helps them out. Even if they aren’t charging it they’re used to it now and they just comply. For me, having it on a rolling cart is the game changer. stopping them at the door is the key to collecting the phone. If they make it into the room that’s where the struggle begins. They take it to their desk. They argue that they will keep it in their backpack, but we all know they never do. Then we spend the entire instructional period telling students to get off their phones and put them away.

Cell Phone Spa and Hotel
Our school now requires students to check in their cell phones, so I bought this to store the phones. The box is well made and has held up well. Although the stickers are a little tough to put into place, they are easy to see and have worn well after a month of school. I put a power strip and several chargers next to it so the students can let their phones "relax and power up" at the Cell Phone Hotel and Spa.
