Always used cubots. You get a lot of phone for the money. The nova is fast for multi tasking. Looks great. Camera ok but not amazing. A good phone overall

Downside the notch to flick the phone open is very shallow and I had a fight to get in to install SIMs etc, and I'm thinking the radio is not too good but that might be old headphone. Upside very clear screen, because you can get into the phone the potential to replace battery or repair easily. I have been using another brand of dual sim phone (zte) that at 3 years old was dying and this Cubot seems every bit as good for half the price. I found the screen saver made it impossible to see the screen in bright outside light so removed it, but then I keep my phone in a case. I don't keep it in my back pocket so can't say how well it would cope with that kind of use. It goes without saying that the combination of Android 8 and MediaTech makes for a slick phone. I don't watch video's and like on my phone but do use it for reading the newspaper and general research when travelling, and of course email. It cost me about a sixth of the price of a top range dual SIM phone so if it lasts 3 years I win big time.

Purchased after smashing the screen on a previous cubot (magic). This isn't a terrible phone, it's quite responsive in use, but the battery life is quite poor, particularly if you use gps (common with most Chinese brand phones -I've had *many* - oukitel, thl etc). The deal breaker for me was that it stopped charging reliably 2 months in. Returned and refunded (usual great Amazon service) and bought a Samsung J6 instead. My first big brand phone for years but so far I'm very impressed, way better battery life &camera, NFC etc and all the little nice bits that just work, for not much more money.

The fact that this damn smartphone is not so bloody smart is a big issue for me. I previously owned a Cubot Hafury Umax & it connected to my PC downloaded my music & photos no problem. That is why I purchased a Cubot again. However this bloody model will not connect to my PC as the driver software cannot be found. Therefore it is really not fit for purpose. If this continues I will be left with no option but to return product!!!

Happy to recommend this. I have seen a great many mobile phones in action & would pick this phone over & again. Set it up to handle all they can. Usage, build & performance are best all round to give to you as well a smart phone device as you might have with any high quality performance mobile, one which is also still quite light in weight!!* Absolutely lovely!!*

I don't like writing reviews but I want to for this phone. It would be great for someone who wants a phone just to use as a phone. I struggle to believe it is smart phone because it will only hold a certain amount of apps. When you try to make space for these apps, it doesn't realize that you have deleted them. I had a Xiaomi Redmi prior to this and it was much better. It never let me down. This has been a constant disappointment. I would like to say my screen has also cracked but know this is common on phone's these days and will not hold it against it despite it falling the total sum of 2 feet.

had about a week and after getting use to features on the phone I am very pleased with it. Some features not on this phone from my older Cubot but nothing significant to spoil the operation of it. All in all good for price and will use Cubot again. Excellent value for money.
