Very good performance
As with everything on my PC I buy, I check many reviews and tests for it before purchasing.I had my heart set on liquid metal TIM (thermal interface material) but after reading about the etching, staining and worry about long term impact on the CPU heatspreader and or heatsink I was not interested any longer.I wanted a thermal compound that lasted a long time without having the hassle and risk involved with taking your PC apart to reapply compound.I had run Noctua NT-H1 thermal compound for 10 years with my I5 2500K CPU which was overclocked quite high to 4.8GHz. Temperatures were always very low and I never once had to reapply the paste, this lasted longer than even specified by Noctua, but they do not lie or fudge numbers like some companies do. Noctua are brutally honest and that I love. Their customer service is also very good. With the modern CPUs of today with their tightly packed, high core counts, it's vital to remove that heat as quickly as possible. With a poor performing compound your CPU isn't going to be boosting as well and it's going to be running warmer, making for a shorter lifespan.Noctua NT-H2 appeared to offer the best performance whilst being safe for all components and having a long lifespan. I've read too many reports of the MX compounds having high peak temperatures even after trying many different application methods and that put me off it, even though it was very cheap.Talking about pricing, I do feel this is quite high price but you do get the wipes included too - although I'd rather they offered a version without the pads too... Perhaps a smaller pack would be good as well as the amount of compound in this would last many applications. The included wipes are very large and come with tons of alcohol soaked in them, plan to clean a lot at the same time as it's very overkill for one CPU and cooler! They are very good quality however. The temps in my system are lower than what most are getting online so I think this compound does help, let's hope it lasts as long as the NT-H1 and I'll be very happy!I ignored Noctua and used the X application method as looking online this gives the best spread on common CPU sizes.Highly recommended.

Works better than OEM
Applied this to a new machine and replaced a “fairly” new machine’s Corsair stuff and performed well. Genuinely lowered temperatures by a few degrees.I applied quite generously, may be hard to do more than 2 machines, unsure as no window on the side of the tube like arctic do (would be nice to see this added!).Included wipes smell a lot like isopropyl alcohol and seem to work well without leaving any residue.

Noctua NT-H2 Review
This is a review of what I liked and what I didn't like about this productWhat I liked:-Super quick and easy to apply. What I disliked:-Nothing!!!Honestly, I'm not a full on gamer nerd who needs the lowest CPU temps as possible. All I needed was some thermal paste and yeah it's done the job. Cooling is sufficient and it was quick and easy to apply. Nothing more to say. It does the job for me at least.

Excellent thermal compound
Replaced the Thermal compound in my 2 year laptop and it is has given it a new lease of life with temps greatly improved and cooler. You get what you pay for. Also comes with nice large wipes to wipe away any old compound

Took 13 degress celius off temps
I first applied this with 1 blob in middle and lines throughout that made my temps worse, so i cleaned that one up and then made makeshift spatula to spread out evenly and generously which decreased my tempratures by 13 degress celius. Minus 1 star no spatula and saying 1 blob is good enough when not in my case!

Brilliant stuff
Was using arctic 4/6 this noctua thermal paste reduced my full load temps by 12-15 degrees, very impressed

replaced stock on an rtx 3070 and dropped temp by 30C
My son was starting to get black screens and high fan speed when he called for help. after using a gpu diag tool that showed the black screen was hitting in when there was a hot spot at 105C and gpu temp of 83C we replaced the thermal with this. Since, it is running at a max temp of 65C average and core hot spot at 77C so it is definitely doing the job.It is very very sticky so if your method is to spread instead of drop, be prepared to have something to wipe away the gunky slops to keep things tidy.I would happily buy again for gpu or cpu thermal paste.
