Wets the bed when going to sleep
Updated the BIOS and device drivers and this game box still will not shut down when I tell it.Instead shutting down or putting it to sleep places this PC in a fully powered halted state, and the only way out is to manually power cycle it.Besides that it's nice. Not a big deal. For the $$$ I put down for it, you'd think something so basic wouldn't be an issue. Runs like a dream ... that doesn't want to stop.

Save Yourself Time and Money, Get a Custom PC
At first glance, for $1600 this PC seems like an OK choice: a decent Intel CPU, 16GB RAM, a fair amount of storage, and an RTX 2070. The aesthetics are really nice too. However, it's what's not really listed or apparent that makes it much more worthwhile to have a custom PC built from a company like Xidax or Origin for not much more. The motherboard, cooling, and power supply (500W) are all totally insufficient for this machine. The description on Amazon is also correct, with the i7 8700 (not the k) and this motherboard, you can't do any overclocking.Parts aside, after receiving this PC it wouldn't even boot. I got the "3 long, 3 short" beeps indicating a GPU issue. Since it was purchased through Amazon and is apparently different from anything HP has in their inventory, HP wouldn't be able to replace it for a couple of weeks. I then had to hassle Amazon for a timely replacement and eventually just canceled the order after doing more research into the beep code. This is apparently a common issue with this PC in which the monitor does not detect the GPU fast enough, resulting in an error. It's resolvable, but a $1600 PC shouldn't be having these kinds of issues. Please look at your other options!

HAd less than a year and PSU is dying
This computer was a waste of money, I only had it 3-4 months before problems started popping up. I am afraid to turn it off because it takes upwards of an hour of power cycling it to get it to boot properly, and now the fans runs at 100% speed 100% of the time because the PSU is dying.

Won't turn off display or go to sleep
I've been fiddling with this thing since I got it and no matter what I do, it won't turn off the display or go to sleep. I've updated the bios, change the power settings, uninstalled software, reinstalled, disconnected all usb devices and there is basically nothing I can do but remember to press the power button to save energy. I've sometimes forgot and it bugs me since I'm trying to lower my electric bill. The only other thing is that the fan is very loud when it comes on but I've had no problems playing games and video rendering. Much faster than my older pc.

DO NOT BUY !!!!
Im sorry my friend bought himself this pc and what came in the pc was not the parts listed, they said in this build was a 2080 super in the questions and had a 750 watt 80+ Platium PSU yet came with a 500W bronze PSU and came with 1 stick of ram at 8gb clocked in at 2666mhz alongside this, this advertising is false saying it is water cooled yet comes with an simple heatsync THAT ISNT EVEN SECURED PROPERLY ITS SIDEWAYS DONT BUY THIS PC OR AND ONE FROM OMEN GO TO letsbld.com please to buy a prebuilt
