Shogun Yoga Wheel Roller for Back Pain Relief - Back Roller Stretching Device for Spine Stretching, Improved Flexibility & Mobility

I work on the computer all day and play games on my PC at night and ever since I started office work I noticed upper back pain which turns out was causing me bad headaches. This is from being bent over sitting in a chair all day. I used to go to the chiropractor when it got really bad and one thing he told me to do was to lay on something to push everything back the other way since everything is always getting pushed forward. This wheel does that very well. It also gets a lot of cracks and pops out I normally I cannot get. It is really intense at first to lay on, and you may not get pops the first few uses, but it gets easier as things loosen up and I started getting lots of pops later on. There's a spot in my upper back between my shoulder blades I could never pop on my own and on this wheel I can get it. I put the wheel there and put my elbows out to each side and do a fast downward motion and it pops the spot like crazy and the relief is amazing. I'm 6'5 180lbs and for me the wheel is very sturdy with good padding. Highly recommend. I want to get smaller ones now for more intense pushing if I can find them in this brand I will get them. Much cheaper than the expensive chirp wheels. For what it is it doesnt make since for Chirp to cost that much, and apparently Shogun is a smaller veteran owned company so id much rather support them.

Fantastic product, but even better customer service! I purchased my first yoga wheel (10”) from them 2 years ago due to back pain and it helped soo much I brought it to Jiu Jitsu and use it before every class, it’s a game changer for my back. I liked it soo much I convinced a lot of my teammates to get one as well. After the first one had been well used for so years and the rubber portion sliding off the plastic I went right back to the same company, cannot beat the value for the price. I bought this 3 pack mainly for the smaller wheel as well as a new 10” and was very happy with it. A couple months into the new wheels the 10” wheel rubber ripped apart from the plastic coming unglued. I knew it was a defect because of the old one and reached out to the manufacturer. They did not hesitate to apologize, explain that the old wheel is now discontinued and replaced it with a new model free of charge! This company is awesome, I cannot recommend them enough and the new model(looks like knobby tires) is even better than the old. Can’t beat the value, just buy the product already!

I have always had lower back problems, and now in my senior years it can be testy. So when I saw a yoga wheel at my son's house, I decided to give it a try. It worked wonders! Right there and then I decided to acquire one for myself. The Shogun Yoga Wheel (10") is sturdy and comfortable. Now I make it a habit of using it every morning without fail, rolling my spine on it and feeling the vertebrae shift in place. I roll on it until the aches dissipate. I am happy to say my back feels great and looser than it has ever been! Forward 10 months and the wheel's rubber pad is detaching itself. Shoddy manufacture?

As I've aged my back is now reaping all the child births, office work, car accident,bumps and bruises I put my body through during my youth. I suffered from sporatic (sometimes debilitating) lower back pain & shoulder tightness (hunched) when standing for extended periods or doing menial chores. No amount of massages or having my husband crack a few spots seemed to eleviate the feeling of dull pain. With this product I have felt instant releif! I started out using it every other day and my back cracks from my lower back all the way to my upper shoulder blade. It feels so amazing and I now feel my posture has improved. I no longer suffer from frequent back pain and when I do happen to strain my self I use this and the following day my pain is 10x better. Ive let family and friends use it and the only frequent complaint is that the padding isnt thick enough and uncomfortable when using. I personally dont mind it, but a lil more padding couldnt hurt. Item is also sturdy, im a big girl and i dont feel like this will break or crack under my weight. Best purchase for my back that I could have ever made!!

10/10 definitely recommend. I've had to visit the chiropractor quite a few times in the last few years because of the stiffness in my upper back. Even when I do go, it's really hard for him to crack right in between my shoulder blades because everything is so tense, so I usually have to go twice in 1 day in order to get the spot I need. I finally got sick of constantly feeling wound up so I decided to try this out and oh my god. My upper neck and back feel like it did in my 20s. I roll against this up and down my entire spine, then place it in the middle of my back and stretch over the top of it. My mobility has improved, I no longer have constant pain, and I haven't been back to the Chiropractor in a few months. I thought I was gonna be this stiff, grumpy B for the rest of my life, but this item helped TREMENDOUSLY!!

I was SO excited to get these yoga wheels! I had thought about purchasing the Chirp ones, but they weren’t shipping until next month, and I need help with my back pain ASAP. I took the wheels out of the box, and they felt sturdy, well made, and (aside from not having a center groove for your spine) looked very much like the other brand. I sat with my back against the larger wheel, ready to roll out my back with the delightful sound of little pops and cracks along the way, but... OUCH! Not ouch in a good way; lord knows I love a good hard stretch and super deep tissue massage. This wheel felt like steel against my spine and ribs! Yes, I got a pretty good snap, crackle, pop, but at the cost of bruises on my spine! There is virtually no cushion on this wheel. Full disclosure- I weigh about 100 pounds, and I suppose I’m rather bony, so someone who has more fat and muscle protecting their spine may not experience as much pain as I did, but I would still recommend a wheel with with more cushion. If you are thinking of purchasing this wheel to help stretch and alleviate back pain, I would recommend finding a similar product with equal sturdiness, but that offers more cushion to protect your spine and ribs. I gave this product 3 stars only because I know it can be used for purposes other than stretching/rolling your back, and it may very well be great for them.

Was looking for a very long time for a 10 inch yoga wheel, (as apposed to a 12-13inch) because I’m short (right under 5 ft). This yoga wheel is perfect, it’s the first one I’ve used, but it seems very sturdy and worth the money. Been using it here and there for about 2 months for back cracking and back pain when I do my stretches - but am EXTREMELY SURPRISED by how much this thing has “opened” my chest. I can breath WAYYYY deeper than I was before (actually than I EVER have) and there’s all this new room under my rib cage that WAS NOT there before. It’s very strange but an AMAZING unexpected plus to using a yoga wheel. I also find myself hunched over my art a lot and not realizing it until hours have gone by and my back hurts -one or two rolls over this thing right after and that type of pain is cut in half ATLEAST. I’ll never go back to not having one. Get one if you don’t already have one -this thing is now an essential!

Always used a foam roller. I could never get between my shoulder blades. I have had pain for a while and have tried diffrent ways to pop or crack it. I saw the chirp and saw it is poorly made and break easey. I ordered this and it seems to be made of aluminum and strong. I used this just now and had some pain but between the shoulder blades but slowly worked it back and forth and felt the pop and i have no pain or the feeling it needs to pop. This thing is awsome its better made than the chirp and also cheaper. I will be recommending this to everyone i know who may need it. And this seems to be the first product i have bought from amazon made to last.

Honestly, I'm disappointed. I opened up the box and the foam is already splitting and coming out.
