Litter Genie Cat Litter Box | Portable, Open, High Sided Cat Litter Box with Handles | Flexible Plastic Litter Box | Comfortable, Easy-Clean Cat Box

I originally got the sifting litterbox (because it's popular), but true to what I was thinking, it's too small, about the size of a dishtub, but not as deep. So, I got this Litter Genie litterbox instead, not only because the size was bigger, but I figured I could at least try dumping the litter into the sifting litterbox and then sifting it, to see how that worked. Well, to my surprise and delight, it works great and I actually don't mind dealing with the litterbox now, something I never expected. It's awkward to have the implements of both systems in my small laundry room, but, hey, at least the ease of cleaning the litterbox means it gets done and so the extra sifting litterbox system in addition to this wonderful Litter Genia litterbox is worth the trouble. I figure I lucked out because I'm getting the best of both worlds ... first, this larger Litter Genie litterbox with the very convenient handles, plus the very convenient sifting method, which is 100x better than scooping. The whole system kinda hinges on the ease of pouring the litter from the Litter Genie litterbox into the sifting litterbox ... and I can tell you that it's easy. Some people mentioned that the pour "spout" eventually cracked from pouring while "squeezing" the two handles together .... but I just lift and "tip" the whole thing into the sifter litterbox with no problem at all and I highly recommend doing it that way, while resting the Genie litterbox on the edge of the sifter litterbox. I've probably got everyone thoroughly confused by now, but trust me, this is a great system because it's so easy. Even without an additional sifter litterbox system on hand, this is a really great litterbox and I highly recommend it!!!

This litter box is awesome and well worth the money. I have three cats, all different sizes and they can all fit in it comfortably. All three of them choose this litter box over the others, every time. Nothing ever leaks out and the walls are high enough that not much litter gets out, even with three kicking cats. The shape makes it so easy to clean. And the handles!!! The handles make everything easier, moving it when I need to vaccuum, carrying it, cleaning it. It's easy to deep clean too, it washes right up, good as new. One of my cats loves to scatch at the sides and you would never know it, the scratching leaves no marks. It's also great or smaller spaces as it can fit in easier then harder walled boxes. I bought this in 2023, it is now 2026 and it's still as good as it was the first day. I would buy this again when I need one and my cats recommend it to your cats.

I have two cats and this has become one of my favorite litter boxes after trying quite a few over the years. The stainless steel base gives it a sturdier, cleaner feel than the usual plastic-only pans, and litter doesn’t stick to it the way it tends to in regular boxes. That makes cleaning far easier, I usually just dump, rinse with hot water and mild soap, and it looks new again. Unlike plastic, it doesn't hold onto the pee smell once washed. The size works well for multi-cat use. Either of my cats fits comfortably inside, thanks to the taller sides that keep the litter in instead of scattering it all over the floor. The shape is a little unusual at first glance, but it’s actually very practical. It fits into tight spaces, and if you place it against a wall, the flexible design adjusts to the space while still giving the cats room to move. I've seen complaints about durability, but I've seen no issues myself so far. Overall, it’s quite a pricey option, but the design, cleanliness, and durability make it worth it for me. With two cats using it daily, it’s holding up well, keeps litter inside, and is easy to keep clean. Unless something better comes along, this will stay my go-to box. Okay, so clearly the shape of this litter "box" isn't what's shown. Not sure if this is a re-design or...just not sure. This one appears to have the handles on each end instead of each side as shown and one end is clearly lower than the other. It's clear the difference in my photos and the photo of the product attached in the bottom of the box. It is a good size...not too small so pleased with that. This is more accurately described as a litter tote rather than a litter box. Basically, it's a large plastic tote. It's definitely different than the usual litter box, will be super easy to dump used litter out and spray clean and will, I think, work great for my needs...I use a litter box only when my 2 indoor/ outdoor cats stay inside overnight due to inclement weather. Wanted something easy to give a litter box option when needed during the night. Will update if I run into any issues or negatives. Update 10/13/20: after using this product, I felt I needed to make customers aware that it does crack pretty quickly especially if picking it up when it contains heavy, dense clumping litter. While I like the concept and convenience of the open litter "tote", it doesn't stand up well to continued picking up and moving it by grabbing both handles in one hand and carrying it as it seems to be designed to do. If it contains heavy litter, it cracks. It's just not made of flexible enough plastic to withstand the weight. Disappointing.

Very happy with this. We replaced our rectangular generic plastic box with this, and it significantly cut down on tracked litter and the amount of litter that she kicks out of the box. It's also much larger than her previous box, and it's much easier to do a full litter change as well. We have been using it for over a month so far, and no issues with handles breaking like others have mentioned. It's thick enough to withstand scratching and I have had no issues at all with scooping with the curved sides. Overall very happy, if this broke, I would buy another.

I’m very happy with this litter box! It’s big and spacious, which makes it comfortable for my cat and helps reduce mess no more litter everywhere. The design does a great job of capturing odor and keeping the area smelling fresh, even after several uses. The build feels premium and very durable, much better than cheaper boxes I’ve tried in the past. It’s solid and easy to clean, and I’ve noticed that the litter doesn’t stick to the bottom, which makes scooping a lot simpler and less frustrating. Overall, this product has exceeded my expectations. It’s large, well-made, and works exactly as described. Definitely worth the 5 stars.

I was a little worried about how low the walls are but this litterbox has been good for my cats. It’s larger than I was expecting and really keeps smell at bay. Easy to clean. Hold more litter than I thought it would too so I don’t have too much pee sticking to the bottom unless they dig more than usual. My only qualm is the price. Stainless steel litter boxes should not be $60+.
