We live in area where we get power outages constantly. We have a generator and many portable lights. When I saw these lights I thought they are perfect. Just got them and put batteries in and wow was I surprised. They give off ample lighting and are bright.easy to hold with a very comfortable handle.i got 4 of them as I will place them in areas of our home that will benefit most. Very well made and so easy to use. A simple black on/off button on the front is so convenient to use. Come next power failure we’re ready! Highly recommend these lights.

This is a smallish, cheaply made (plastic) light. No surprises there. Seems to put off adequate light, so this is perfect for what I need - an emergency light source for a small cabin. I wanted a light powered by AA batteries as I always have that size readily available.

These are my go-to for power outages. I have 4 sets and the house lights up well when the power goes off. Great handle to move them around even for little ones to hold. They gives good clear lighting even in the dark of night. I tape the batteries to the bottom so they are ready to go and don't wear down inside of the lantern. Great to use for camping and emergency needs at home. I keep one in each of the cars, much better than a flashlight. I highly recommend.

I thought it came with batteries. Because it didn't I already keep batteries around. I am using 4 batteries and works well. So far. Think it'll be fine. We get a lot of black outs in CA so in wanted this. Descent little guy

Aside from my one photo, all of my photos were taken in a pitch dark room to illustrate how much light these little lanterns put out. We are quite pleased with how they perform. I purchased these for my niece who is going camping. A lot of reviews said they were ideal for this purpose and that the batteries last a long time. I will be interested to hear how they did. I like the versatility of these little lanterns. They are safe to use inside the house, and work well outdoors. We bought the two pack and the price is right. They are fun to use and are the perfect size! They definitely earned five stars. If anything changes, I will come back and update. But until then, we are quite happy!

Perfect for my kids for their bedrooms! Highly recommend, especially for kiddos scared of storms that get up in the night.

This lantern gives off a good amount of light. It was a steal for $5 bucks.
