OM SYSTEM OLYMPUS 8x25 WP II Binocular (Green)

I've owned a number of binoculars in this price range over the years. Some have been waterproof but with little eye relief (important for eyeglass wearers), and very average image quality while others that weren't waterproof had good eye relief and have provided a very good image (bright and sharp).This is the first pair of compact waterproof bino's in the sub $100 range that I've owned that not only appear to be very well made for the price, but also have good eye relief, a decent neck strap (not just a heavy string), focus easily, have a reasonable field of view (good for birding), and provide a view that is bright and sharp. Their double hinge design also allows them to fold into a very compact package when not in use. Highly recommended.

Light weight, as sharp as my Nikon 9x30's which I bought in the 1980's and cost three times the price in THAT era's money and feel twice as heavy. They come with a case that slips onto your belt so you don't have to have them around your neck all day. Love the eyepiece covers that twist up and down for eyeglass wear or not. Believe the great reviews. Took them on a cruise a month ago. Couldn't believe what could be seen from miles away as we were coming into the ports. I Highly recommend the binoculars!.

Good pair of light weight binoculars. Image can be seen clearly. The only draw back is they did not attach the eye cups so that they don't get lost while in use. I don't know about any one else, but I like to keep the lens as clean as possible. I am afraid I will loose the eye caps then what??

Very handy and well made binoculars; center focus; good close-up focus; small enough to pack in a suitcase or fit in a pocket. Typically high Olympus quality. 8x-magnification is near the limit for steady hand-held binoculars; so the lightness of these compensates for the inevitable tendency to shake when looking at distant things. 25mm objective is bright enough for most light-conditions. A very good buy.

The glasses are very good. They only came with one pair of lens caps, it should have two. Please send another pair.

I bought a pair of these bins for my two kids for a recent trip to Costa Rica. I benchmarked them against my Nikon 8x25 Trailblazer and Nikon Monarch 10x40s. These bins held their own in optical resolution and clarity and evenly matched the Nikon 8x25. They are also light, compact and waterproof.The only place they fell short was the eyecups on one of the bins simply popped right off while in use in Costa Rica. The other one was fine. I've returned it to Olympus for repairing and will update this review when I get them back.So if budget, portability and light usage is your goal, these will do the job admirably and still give an excellent image. If you intend to rough it out in the field or subject it to more frequent usage, then you should pick a different tougher model.

For work along bush lines, this is the one to carry. Accommodates wide interpupillary distance. Very good optics, and strong build.Great service from Amazon and seller.

Lightweight and well built as I've come to expect from Olympus products. The carry case is well made and can be easily attached your belt. Field of view is good and focus is easy to use. Would recommend.
