for Microsoft Surface Pro 7/ Pro 6/ Pro 5/ Pro 4 Case, Shockproof Rugged Folio Protective Hard Cover with Pen Holder Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard + Original Kickstand (Cobalt)

Needed a new case after a few years, and this one fit my budget. I had to watch the video because following the picture assembly did nothing for me! However it wasn't too bad. You do have to make sure the light is on when charging, but I normally do anyway. Also, when I first attached my keyboard, I had to massage the keyboard in to make sure it worked. I also had to clean it with alcohol, because my surface has been loved and is getting up there in age lol but othe than that, it's great and the color matches the keyboard. I got the blue/teal color. I am also happy I can actually use my kickstand alot better now than my previous case.

Looked nice and seemed to fit well but didn’t interface with keyboard. It was rendered useless when cover was on.

Initially, after evaluating several cases for my Surface 5 Pro, I thought this was "the case"... It fit well on the tablet, seemed to protect it well, the power connector worked correctly (although it can ONLY plug in with the cable going DOWN) and life appeared to be good...My impressions changed once I tried to plug the tablet into the docking station connector and found the hole in the case was not big enough at the top to allow the docking station connector to fit. I had to trim a little off the case to make the hole bigger to make the docking station connector fit. I also found there are several USB Ethernet interfaces that will not plug into the UBS connector because the hole is too small. Sorry I didn't take pictures of the problem before modifying the case, but trust me, I had to remove the case EVERYTIME I wanted to plug the docking station into the tablet without modification...I can cut the vendor some slack about the USB/Ethernet connector as they have no way of knowing the size of all the different USB devices out there. But having to modify the case to fit a standard MICROSOFT docking station connector makes me hesitate on giving this 5 stars

I originally wrote a negative review for this case because I was having the same issues as many with the keyboard not working when connected. I really like the case, but it was a no go if I couldn't get the keyboard to work... After doing a little research, apparently when you put the keyboard on, because of the tight fit at the bottom, you really have to "snap" the outside corners of the keyboard connection in place to get it to connect properly. I you don't hear the snap, give the connector a little roll back and forth until it literally 'snaps' in - you'll hear it click on both sides. Should it be a better connection? Of course, but now that I can get it to work, I've decided to keep the case because it does what I need it to do - protect the corners from possible drops, and also give me use of the kickstand AND cover and protect it.Overall I recommend this case.

Everything with case is great, this case would be perfect if it wasn't so hard to get the pen in the pen holder however I love having it. It holds the pen tight and no matter what keeps it in place.... even when I'm trying get it out.

I LOVE this case! It holds the pen and accommodates for the stand etc. BUT there is a HUGE design flaw. When you use the case with the keyboard there is not a good connection and the keyboard does not work. I ended up using my dremel to trim down the space where the keyboard connects to even make it work. Kind of a bummer and it doesn't look so pretty but it is now functional.

Fits perfectly. Easy to install and looks great. Not sure what security features there are but I'm very happy with my purchase.
