I was really looking forward to receiving this mattress as my, then, current one, a Hypnia memory foam mattress, had just about had its day after 15 years of brilliant service. Everything looked fine with the new arrival, which came quickly and was well packaged, but after 36 hours of being rolled out and left to inflate, I was disappointed to find that it only expanded to 7" and not the 8" as described by the seller. This left the mattress with a baggy cover as there was an inch of space unfilled. Sleeping on this mattress is OK, but nothing special as you feel like you are resting on the reflex foam rather than the memory foam. This mattress is only slightly better than my old mattress and I have thought about restoring my old mattress because you can still enjoy the memory foam feel, but the support just isn't quite there. There was no point in contacting the seller as I could not vacuum pack it to send it back, and there was no way I could afford to send it back as a full mattress. When I came to write this review, I realised that I had not received my free memory foam pillow either, something I had completely forgotten about with the disappointment of the mattress. When you don't have a lot of money it is very disappointing, after trying to do as much research into a product as possible, when you end up wasting what you really can't afford to, on a product that doesn't live up to the description, and is missing the free offer. This could have been a good product but has turned out to be just average, and left me short changed. I doubt it will last anywhere near as long as my old one, but it will have to do for now.
