BRITA Style Lime Water Filter Jug with Maxtra+ lime

This is by far the best jug Brita have launched. Great minimalist design and less to scale up and wash. Much better to fill, pour and monitor. This jug actually only pours the filtered water even when there is water above the cartridge not yet filtered. 10/10 to Brita on design. I can actually taste the improved difference between the maxtra + and the maxtra cartridge. The water tastes really great and I am so pleased I bought this. I was so impressed I told my son and he bought it too, he's equally impressed!

Having used the older style jug for many years I was interested to try this new model. I like the idea of the removable status light/ battery and hope that when the battery dies that I will be able to replace that part rather than the entire jug, which is what prompted me to buy a new one (my very first jug lasted 10 years before the battery died but my last one only a year or so) The lid doesn’t fit as tightly so it’s necessary to hold it in place when pouring the water, but otherwise I’m getting on with it ok.

I did a great deal of research before buying this. Many other filter jugs have complaints that they are messy pourers - this one pours perfectly. The filter is easy to get in and out and the flip lid makes filling easy.I like the solid handle (reviews of those with 'half' handles tell they can snap off). Slimline and neat. Very pleased

I received this item today and opened just now, found the LED light is missing, a hole is there, no way to show the usage of the cartridge, I just wondering how to know when do I need to change the cartridge. I do believe that something is missing. I need to return and replace a new one ASAP.

Easy to assemble, nice balance, dishwasher safe.
