Micro adjust is perfect for long zoom phones.
This little device is solid metal and works perfectly for my Sony HX99 or S22 Ultra.A great idea to make framing distant images a snap.

Not a substitute for more expensive geared tripod heads.
I was hoping this device might be a (relatively) inexpensive substitute for a geared tripod head. This only adjusts in 2, not 3 planes, azimuth & elevation. In both cases adjustments are achieved by tightening one side while simultaneously loosening the other side. For example, to adjust in azimuth you turn one azimuth knob clockwise while simultaneously turning its opposing knob counterclockwise. Very precise, but also very clumsy and slow. It is probably a good tool for product or landscape photos. In my opinion it is totally unsuitable for framing a shot with my new nixon p1000 with its 3000 mm equivalent focal length. Manfrotto does make a 3 axis geared head that sells for about $170.00. I hope the geared head works more efficiently than this device. I do not want to spend the money on manfrotos $260.00 or $400.00 plus geared tripod heads.
