Breathing is so much easier; no more biting snorkel. The viewing perspective is different than regular masks. Great for surface swimming. Not suitable if you want to dive deeper than 8 feet as there is no way to valsalva to equalize ear pressure.

I had seen these full face masks and thought them gimicky, favoring the traditional mask and snorkel. I bought one for my daughter who could not manage a snorkel and tried hers out on a whim. It did not fit but still worked pretty well. I bought this one and I have been very impressed! Used it in Hawaii and it was amazing- comfortable for long periods, purge valve works way better than snorkels, DOES NOT FOG UP because the nose is separated from the eyes, wide field of view- overall amazing. The one downside it that when you dive you cannot pinch your nose to clear your ears.

I could see better with my head above the water and the mask off. Lense fogging was a problem. I could breathe through the snorkel but it felt like I wasn't getting enough air. When I went under water the mouth portion of the mask filled up with water. I suppose if you got straight in the water and did not have to raise it up to talk or raise it up for anything and were strict snorkeling it would be fine, but did not work well for shallow water crabbing.

this is the only was to snorkel comfortable. doesn't fog up. view is wide angle. has a bobber so water doesn't go in the air tube. my 2nd one. don't loan them they don't always come back.

I have never been able to swim well because I cannot master breathing. This mask has given me a way to swim at the gym with ease and I have yet to get one drop of water in the mask. It’s comfortable and easy to use. The breathing tube is difficult to separate from the mask, but it’s the only negative I have about this.

Still fogs a little, especially in cold water. I don't care what they sat about the double airways, make sure you take a break from these every 10 or 15 mins. Even if it's just to float and catch your breath, take it off and get fresh air. But when they don't fog, visibility is great and you'll never get water in your mask by accidentally going down too deep and taking a breath.
